So your saying you have never been destroyed while leaving spawn
No, this is not what I am saying. I just didn’t start crying after that and instead did something about it to spare my teammates from the same fate.
Also about 95% of my deaths in/around my spawn are due to enemy tanks that have pushed around a flank.
Average game of WT: Kill 2 people, get revenge bomb’d instantly, spawn an SPAA and shoot down two planes, oh oops now you’re being spawn camped and the game is over.
No wonder people complain. CAS players ruin the game.
My 2 cents on the argument is that in this game, support is not rewarded at all, thus no one is supporting others.
I would love to spawn in my own AAA at the start of the game and protect others, but I want some credit for that, even if none of the enemy decided to spawn in a helicopter or bomber. Same goes with fighters and interceptors. I would love to use them, but why should I waste 400 spawn point and possibly thousand of lions not knowing if any enemy will spawn with something I can kill.
Staring at the sky waiting for some targets to get close enough to get killed by me is not funny at all. Getting no score at all for doing that, is even less funny.
Oh no. You got kill by a plane at least once? Clearly op and need removed.
I honestly want someone to count how many kills in an average match are from planes vs tank. I am guessing over 80% of kills are from tanks.
I don’t know. But I know I did a count of over a dozen of my own matches and almost half of the deaths were from CAS.
Most of my deaths are from tanks. Very few times I get bombed, some rare occasions I get bombed twice or 3 times…just doesn’t happen often. I can probably live stream my games on youtube and count there while its being recorded/saved as proof.
Pretty crazy if true. Having half the players use cas and get 2-3 kills or a couple get like 7 each
Does CoD have a knife only mode?
Also, I just checked and the past seven matches in a row in which I died, my first death was from CAS.
I was refering to total kills in the match from all players. Sorry for the confusion.
I like cas. Both playing it and shooting it down using aa.
Lol. Matches to what i imagined.
I find the higher rank spaa to be relaxing to play.
Depends what your “goal” is. If it is to win (the game’s goal since you get more for winning as a modifier than losing) then trying to work together is going to be more successful than not (aka like the real world).
They should add a “win multiplier” to your score for the events. The pure score only events are simple but they discourage teamwork and staying in a match.
I reckon they removed a lot of the “win” parts of Events due to how sloppy Events are and how often people get stuck on the steam rolled side. Much like how they gave in a reduced Win multipliers and raised Loss multipliers (works for me as I have 46% overall win rate as my teams over time seemed to not even want to try, and that led to me just bailing A LOT of my matches; I tried to keep positive but I did not gain from it). It should in theory point to teams working together for the best rewards (but not all play for that)
But yes, since Events are almost always running, to show appreciation for the win it could be added to Events. However Gaijin “balance” progress of everything so any increase reward would be levelled out elsewhere, in my view of them.
How am I being dishonest and/or shifty? And spawning an SPAA as a deterrent, fine and dandy, but it doesn’t deter the low earth orbit folks one bit because they know I can’t do anything to them anyway; and they don’t have to get closer to be more precise. Neither do the ground hugging near supersonic rocket bois; I’m guessing their biggest worry is hitting a shoddy hitbox on a tree or lamp post, not the SPAA sitting there.
If you’re looking at the sky you’re not spending money on ammo tho ;)
Funny, because that was in response to the post I replied to where a similar stupid jab was employed, but I don’t see you complaining about that. (For reference the “which most of them are newbs or 2/3yo max gamewise” part).
In my case you’d be partially right (I can’t fly planes… not my reason for hating CAS though).
How is this any different than the majority of pro-CAS players pulling out the “just spawn an SPAA” or “just spawn a plane” tropes? Riddle me that…
Pot, kettle.
You could also get an advanced degree in exaggeration and go ahead with the optional “how to absolutely conflate the hell out of two things” course. Oh, wait…
Not against those low earth orbit fellows.
Okay, maybe you will enlighten me as to how one defends against an aircraft that sits in a position where SPAA search radar, tracking radar, and IRST don’t want to lock on to it, and you cannot elevate your barrel or missile launcher high enough to get a shot off. Curious to know, really.
That’s a skewed value because in ground RB, everyone will be spawning tanks but not everyone will be spawning planes. You’d have to normalize that somehow.
Not exactly because many people are talking like cas is just dominating games. If this were the case, they should be getting at least 33% of the kills.
If they want to argue that cas is “over performing” than yeah, I agree it needs to be averaged out with how many spawn. However, the current argument appears to be that cas is getting the most kills in matches.
And if you weren’t there, others could come through without a care.
Hell, you could do other tasks while in this role, such as putting out artillery, repairing and assisting other vehicles in thier tasks such as capping or just even being ‘active’.
You’re so fixated, and stuck on the ‘Kill’ mentality, that you literally can’t see the forest for the trees.
