So, don’t play British 7.7 or be food for airplanes.
By the way, I hear there’s a blackfriday sale for mirrors as your arguments would really warrant taking a deep, long look into one.

It is not.
You can’t cap points if enemy is there to also do that if You don’t kill him.
If you can’t handle the mode then that’s on you…
Nothing to do with what you see on sale, if the mode itself contains something you can’t handle then maybe the mode genuinely isn’t actually for you.
That’s how simple it boils down to.
Go on, drive the 5.3 Bosvark around at 7.7 and report back how much you enjoy it.
Especially in a 8.7 uptier.
You don’t have to cap the contended points, and you, don’t need to kill them either, someone from your team can also do that for you.
I’ve capped many points where they are contended by just getting on the point and waiting sometimes up to 5 minutes to have someone take them out.
It’s not that hard or problematic. It’s just you with that elitist ‘I have to do everything’ mentality that makes that a thing.
I’m not someone to drive around doing stupid things like firing at everything so it’s very likely I wouldn’t be in direct fire… And not to mention being able to put out artillery makes all the more contribution.
So someone has to kill, again kills are important.
Just because You are a burden to the team doesn’t that all people should be.
Your job is to shoot down planes.
Do it.
Even if they are wary they’re helpless.
Spawning SPAA/plane comes after you die to something you couldn’t counter. Like in this guy:
Also, some SPAAs are outright unable to match the effective range of CAS they see.
Doesn’t matter who does it, if it gets done, it gets done… The point is that it doesn’t have to be someone individually.
That’s assuming that I am a burden, but that’s just your want to paint me out as one because your KDR is that precious and it’s the only thing you see worth in… That’s a you issue right there.
And I can, what’s your point? That I said that I can put out artillery, and still contribute, or that I can hold my fire until an opportune time to shoot rather than just spraying and praying like many do…
That’s true, but it doesn’t mean they are dead to rights.
Not SPAA, you can spawn that first spawn…
Many operators fire at too long a distance and without watching for other planes to pick them off so there’s a lot of operator error involved.
Which of these do you think has any chance against a plane?
Pictured: No rooftop MG

Has rooftop MG, made of paper and dies to fifty cals

Has actual anti-air armament, takes forever to turn and can be strafed by rifle caliber rounds much less rocket splash radius.
Which of these 3 has any chance facing down something like…

Or even just a…

So again, kills are important.
Don’t be the burden for the team and make others do Your job.
All depends on the operator, as well as the scenario.
It’s not an absolute ‘They’re dead’ situation, a lot of it comes back to choices, at various stages.
I cant do shit against a 279 anywhere in something like a ZA-35, and running wont always save you. Against aircraft its similar - yes, there will be times you cant avoid it, but you can still counter it with SPAA/CAP, and migitate its impact by being smart.
Technically? Yes. However, air generally aims for the easiest targets, and making yourself an inconvenient target heavily reduces the chances of this.
That is, admittedly, true. However, many of those tanks trade it for other capabilities, and even just shooting at them can reduce their accuracy/desire to bomb you, at least when you fire on their attack run. Hell, even shooting your main gun can help somewhat.
In this case, limiting the problem does mean it gets fixed. Yes. There are going to be some times where you cant do anything, but when facing tanks the same can happen. TO is a good idea in theory, but it would split the RB/SB playerbase and create massive balance problems for AB, all while not bringing in many new people.
As an aside, I do want to firmly state that I honestly dont much like CAS - it can be annoying as all hell sometimes, and there are a few times where I do just die. I dont really mind this, and I would rather fix the issue and make everything viable then simply shift it away. I aint a CAS defender, I just have a rather… different perspective on the issue.
Also - one other thing that needs to happen is a fine going-over of GRB aircraft BRs, as this -
Should not really happen. Something like a P-51 or P-47 w/bombs should not be at the same GRB BR as the J26, for example. Ideally this would also come with a rework of ARB, as its a fairly flawed gamemode at the moment. All aircraft need to be viable in it, not just fighters.
So, you can go and effectively take on a swarm of 8.7 strike aircraft with AGM, rocket pods in a 5.3 vehicle.
Being unseen is a valid tactic, and that applies in this situation as well.
As much as I hate to agree with you here, you are correct.
‘Swarm’ yea, mount those problems to add to the weight of your argument… It just shows that no matter what is said to you, that you’ll make more and more goalposts to move because it’s clear you merely can’t handle the opposition, which is much of the problem in these threads…
Battle gamemode:
Literally battle gamemode:
Nah, to a point it is, but thing is if the cap is done and you’ve scouted, you’ve done your part…
It’s not kill centric no matter how many people say it is, it’s just not the only way to win.
Pretty much it is.
That engagement is fun only for one side.
So in order to not get killed in an unfair manner you just need to spawn SPAAs and ignore pretty much most other vehicles.
And then at certain BRs you’ll have CAS that you simply cannot shoot down. He’s controlling the engagement.
