one delibirate teamkill isnt enough for a kick. i think it should be like if you lock someone on purpose and shoot them and they die you should be kicked or crew locked
I’m guessing the system takes things like that into account.

That sounds like it would be VERY hard to detect automatically though. IR missiles can sometimes go for teammates on their own and i’ve seen issues/bugs pop up occasionally where a radar missile completely ignores the radarlock and flies to the side and hits a teammate instead. There has to be some sort of buffer for accidents as well. Though most times it’s the result of negligence and not actually an accident, but that a different discussion.
Sim exists. Identification errors are common when you’re using planes without radar/IFF as you only get friendly markers within 900m. Having copy-paste planes in different tech trees doesn’t help.
I have accidentally team killed once in my 11.3 plane, I was sursprised that the per sky was so low at around 50k. You should probably get an hour cooldown or something for team killing an multiple games in a day, so that people can’t do it repeatedly.
I would suggest sending a private message to a Game Master through the forums here if you encounter an extreme example like you described. I do not want to volunteer @Necronomica myself, @Necronomica if you could reply and give your approval for @Loofah to DM you, I think that would be appropriate in this circumstance.
@Loofah I have reported many very intentional team killers in the past, and they have gotten permanently banned. Only once did I need to DM a Game Master, and it was taken care of.
This does not matter. EVERY team kill is recorded in each player’s “permanent record”. Even if the replay site does not list the game anymore. If he has hundreds or thousands of team kills, the Game Masters can see it.
I feel your frustration, your aggravation is warranted. But I would still encourage you to try and reach out to an appropriate Game Master if you see an extreme intentional team killer like that. It is never too late for such players to face appropriate punishment.
And on the subject of your posts getting hidden, if you did not break any forum rules, you can edit your post after a few minutes and it will unhide it. And if it does get hidden again, and you did not break any rules, a forum mod should unhide it eventually.
EDIT:
I obviously do not know the circumstances surrounding what happened to you, but do want to point out out a couple things:
First, Forum Mods =/= Game Masters. Game Masters are the ones who can deal with cheaters/team killers etc.
Second, there are rules against discussing individual actions taken against players. Both for cheaters/team killers, and for any punishments you might have received. Both in game and here on the forums.
So, again, I would encourage you to DM a Game Master. And suggest not discuss any individual player who may be breaking the rules, and likewise not discuss publicly any actions taken on your account either.
So like this one time a guy kept popping smoke on my friend, basically not TKing but griefing him. So I bombed that player so that my friend could play without getting smoked all match…
Would this result in me getting a ban for helping my friend? Or would the player who pops smoke get a ban for ruining people’s game?
Tked 7 times in 5 different matches.
And they were all from the same guy…
What happened was, when I was fighting in a Rhine match I accidentally tked him with a Hellfire bc he drove infront of the AA that I was aiming for.
After that he respawned and killed me I said it was okay bc I tked him.
But after I spawned back in my M1128 he purposely bombed me with a GBU.
After that match had ended I started another and he was in that match too he saw me and kept pushing me into the enemy when I told him to stop he started badchatting and telling me to get out of the way and to stop being a bad tm8.
After I had died I spawned into the RAH66 and tried to takeoff before he bombed the helipad.
This happened over and over untill I stopped playing 11.3.
I forgot his username bc of how annoyed I was about his consistent tk’ing.
Oh and also he was a lvl 43 WW who had the F18 Early, Prem Apache, CB, RDF, Wolfpack, T80U-E1, F4S, SU30, and pzbt 123…
Same advice, see my post above: Why are there no actual consequnces for teamkillers? - #18 by SilentTracker
Ah, you read it already 👍
So, I am obviously NOT a Game Master, do not take what I am going to say as “the law”. Until/unless a Game Master gives you a direct answer.
Having said that, I can tell you from what I have read that BOTH of you could face punishment. First for the guy who is “Griefing” with smoke grenades, and for you TK’ing that Griefer. The best thing for you to do (and/or your friend) is to make a report about Griefers through the replay site. All TK’s are kept track of on your “permanent record”. They never go away, there is no cooldown period. Therefore, it is best to avoid any and all TK’s, especially intentional ones. There will always be accidental TK’s so adding intentional ones to your total TK’s could get you in trouble. Report TK’ers and Griefers and move on with your day, ignore them as best as you can 👍 (I try not to even chat to them during or after a match. Many of them crave negative attention. Do not give it to them.)
First, find the match you played with the Griefer by using the replay site I linked below. Easiest way to find the matches that you played is to check the box that says “Replays including my participation” (see Screenshot #1), click on the drop down arrow top right of appropriate match (Screenshot #1)
Then, find the Griefer’s name, click on “!” next to their name, and then use the appropriate report description. For a Griefer/TK’er the appropriate option would be “Unsportsmanlike conduct”. Enter the details, fill out the time of the event. If there are multiple events, enter the time for the first instance of their offenses. (Screenshot #2)
I would recommend only using this reporting method for significant issues so that the Mods/Game Masters who review these reports do not have more work to do than necessary. For low priority/low significance reports, imo the in game reporting feature is the better option. All in game reports are recorded and tallied, and the offending player will be dealt with eventually if they are an habitual offender.

Thanks for your time explaining this to me. But I am not looking to report that player, this happened a long time ago so I wouldn’t even know their tag. In the end I took the law into my own hand so to speak, so that person paid lol but I will keep this in mind if someone bullies in the future.
I usually avoid TKing, the only times it happens is when a team mate is in serious trouble due to a tank wrecking them at extremely close range and they usually forgive me for it cause they were dead anyway and wanted that other tank to pay.
Yes, but many players accidentally team kill, so getting a 2 hour ban for an accident is unfair to them, things such as misguided artillery and accidental missile lockings also account for a large percentage of team kills
AIM-7’s turn into AIM-260’s if there is a teammate in the radar cone. ive had to break lock dozens of times because of it
Yes. What others say or do in the game does not mean that you are free to break the rules in response. Just report them the correct way and do not engage with them. A guide on how to create a correct report for each issue can be found here: (How to properly report players and contact Game Masters!). Please note that some issues cannot be reported using the in-game complaint system as the reports won’t contain the necessary logs to investigate.
Yes, but i think they look for patterns in behaviour for those typs of bans, i don’t have any insight into how they exactly handle those bans but they do happen (if reported correctly).
But he mostly is not “teamkilling”.
He’s getting teamkilled pretty often.
How?
He rams people.
When they explode, Gaijin blames them for teamkilling, you can see it happening in the video in the post below.
And raming teammates is 100% approved as far as I’m concerned, as this specific dude was raming hundreds of people FOR MONTHS and nothing happened to him whatsoever, as I followed his in game achievements, simply by lookign through his replays.
Of course I reported him for unsportsmanlike conduct, but best case scenario, he got banned for a day or 2.
It’s an old case and MAYBE eventually somebody did something about it.
Thing is - before somebody did something, hundreds of players got rammed, crew locked, and on top of that - some got penalized for “teamkilling”.
I wrote to “game masters”, anyway, the end result was a ban for criticizing Gaijin employee work and decisions (lets say I was openly non-happy with the state of affairs, lol). Of course it was a great ban, longest ban ever. A longer ban that I’ve ever seen before. And the Mexico paid for it!
So I’d like to say that I fully, and with all my heart, support Gaijin and all their employees, as they are clearly doing a great job. A perfect job. Best job in the world. I’ve once met a guy, a real expert, world class, and he said he’s never seen anyone doing better than Gaijin. God bless.
Well, he was raming teammates.
Which is not teamkilling.
I’m glad to hear what the guy was doing was 100% fine and I sincerely hope he’s being succesful doing it all to this day. And if he quit - hopefully others will replace him, because that’s just one of the many ways to enjoy this marvellous game.
A person raming hundreds of teammates not getting permbanned is the very epitome of justice and fairness, and I have to admit - it’s absolutely better than my own moral standards.
Unfortunately the video I linked was the 1st I’ve seen and it’s also his “worst” video, as in the other ones he rammed a lot more people and also shot some of them to pieces.
Nowadays can’t find his replays, either he might have finally got banned OR he changed his name or switched to harassing people in other games. I bet in none of these games he’ll have a chance to hurt as many people as he did in WT, though.
Found more riveting gameplay.
i get the notificattion i have 10 reports for bad lenguage kill team and pasive conduct (unfair never do something except some times i am in a good mood and say something bad but not at all).
the most i got is the chat ban 30 days.
You don’t have to worry. Getting 10 reports is normal, a lot of people report you just so Gaijin’s automatic system bans you. If you don’t run into an organised group, you’re fine.
It’s way worse if you run into 4-man trolls squad.
Their MO: provoke you with very offensive talk in chat, when you tell them to, lets say, go away, here you go, 4 reports, and with a bit of luck - ban. They are not getting banned themselves because nobody has time to look at single reports.
Same works for FB, where you can get banned for having the wrong opinion in the wrong topic, people maliciously mass-report you and FB bans you.
