and both sets are very dated now compared to Raven, ECRS or AN/APG 80/81/82 series
AN/APG-77 was fully integrated on a test F-22 in 1999, and the APG-77 still holds it’s own against even the 81 and 82 in some aspects
AESA on fighters js over 25 years old now, hardly cutting edge now, it’s just the standard at this point tbh

Only really in outright power, it falls short in terms of being a decent multi-mode and lacks refresh rate and modern tech like gallium nitride
it does have great multi mode capability, got even better with the AN/APG-77v1

idk what you mean by refresh rate though, if you literally mean how fast the radar scans, id like a source stating or heavily implying this. as for GaN, this is true, however every other fighter GaN radar is considerably smaller and to my knowledge, less powerful.

War Thunder was never balanced, top tier was always a mess and now it is the turn of the nations that dominated for 12 years to suffer through (so far) one update cycle.

Well don’t worry soon as they get hand on eurofighter they’ll dump f4 and mig-29g to the dumpster just like other that dump their old stuff because after i got eoro i’ll dump by mig 29g as well
i do worry cuz compression and imbalance in top tier air is almost insufferable…i don’t wan’t to play any 1 nation or aircraft all the time, cuz it would get boring. all i want is for the game to balanced so that i have motivation to play and open new trees other than just 1 wich is clearly supperior at the time.

but a true top tier plane we didn’t have, and against 13.7s it was always extremely inferior and that’s what the EFT makes right now
tbh I’m actually hoping for the EFTs, F-15E/I and Rafael to go to 14.0 just to decompress a little bit
what they should have done - introduce F-18C’s and everyone would be happy, but they didn’t, they choose to break already broken balance even further, that’s why a lot of people are mad.
it was too early for EFT/Rafale, other tech trees weren’t ready and still are not.
