Where are all the other gen 4.5 aircraft?

When I say “Easy time” I don’t mean literally easy, even a chimpanzee smashing a keyboard would get an ace. What I really mean by that is easy time compared to other airframes. Play 5 matches with F-15E and with the Su-27SM, I’ll take a wild guess on which one you had a better experience and was easier overall. And yes, it’s about "competing with ‘similar’ airframes’. How similar is the F-15E and a Gripen? F-15E and Su-27SM, F-15E and MiG-29SMT lmao. How similar will the EFT be to all of top tier, it’s even better than the F-15E, as if it wasn’t bad enough. (Still no legacy hornet tho)

And what’s the point of the second paragraph? I agree with that. EFT and Rafale C are a mistake, F-15E and Su-34 are a mistake. But the thing is, right now we have all of those and something like the Hornet is still not here, not even the A version without Fox 3s

radar from Su-30SM - N011 or even AESA variant N011M and rear facing radar N012 in the tail, same rwr as su-25t - “SPO-150” and by some accounts IR MAW. Also same engines as on Su-34, but lighter airframe.

We were talking about the Su-27M, which is even earlier than the Su-35S

yes

Never was, nobody said it was, nobody is saying it is and it never will be.

You really are taking this as a “suffering competition”. At this point every single nation has suffered or is currently suffering from Gaijin’s questionable decisions. F-15E for US, but Hornet should’ve been added over a year ago. Su-27 is unquestionably inferior to its competition (Radar, flight model), GB lacked in actual competitive fighters for a good while, got the Gripen but this version is soon to be outclassed heavily. Germany got the F-4F ICE way too late, so on and so on, I could give an example for every nation.

But I guess instead of discussing the many problems coming with each update, y’all prefer to take part in the “suffering competition”.

sry brother, must have misread your comment

Everybody who voiced criticism about it in the past was ridiculed as a “salty wehraboo”, or dismissed with the “Germany suffers” meme throughout the entire time. It certainly seemed like every non-German-main was fine with it.

And even now that Gaijin is finally boosting Germany’s top tier, they are denying it its better missiles (for obvious gameplay reasons) and giving the EF2000 more empty mass than it really has while at the same time reducing its engine power below its RL specifications.

Don’t forget the Tejas for the Brits, seeing as India is official and all

You seem to have missed literally the entire thread. The replies paint a better picture, it is a simple request for parity among other nations. I don’t know where you got that from.

And when has parity ever been guaranteed in the time span of just one update? look at Pantsir, ICE etc. There is only the correlation of improvement of parity with time and so far this update isn’t even out. The bad news is you will have to wait, the devs made the decision of what they wanted to implement (and to be fair they probably were quite time pressured) and now they can’t magic F-2s,Su-30s and F-18s out of the air

that’s not really our problem, is it?
they could have pushed the update a little bit back.
and we as a player base should voice our opinions and constructive critique, not suck it all up as “well X nation suffered for a while, now it’s our turn”

that’s just victim mentality “they(prob. some trolls) ridiculed us, so now we will ridicule you”

again noone here talks about deminishing or nerfing EFT or Rafale, all we need is parity between nations, cuz atm power creep is so much worse, cuz F-15E/I , EFT and Rafale are at the same BR as J-11A, Su-27SM, F-16C and Jas39C, FFS. It’s like if F-4F KWS was at the 13.7…
And i’m not even talking about 12.7 planes that see 13.7 monsters on live, now they would even meet EFT and Rafale…

Just like the f15e… How many people spent golden squirrels to unlock it, then 1-2 days later poof balanced 🤣

My point isn’t this rather that parity takes time to come.

Idk what you are referring to here

Devs are committed to December updates (before Christmas) as it’s one of the best times for revenue.

Also you underestimate the development time here, we know that they are testing aircraft a while in advance and this was likely the case for just the Euro fighter and Rafale. Hence they had 3D models with some work on FM already.

If other 4.5 gen aircraft were to come all at once it would probably push the update to February as developers get time off in start of January.

that was said in correlation to the statement bellow, cuz the point of “them making a decision and being time pressured” isn’t our problem, if those decisions make game worse by bringing more imbalance.

and this still isn’t our problem, it should have gone in the fashion of Update 2.37 “Seek & Destroy”, i know that they didn’t make the best case there and should have added F/A-18C in the same 2.37 update, but it was the most “balanced” update and gen 4.5 aircraft should have come the same way, to all nations at once.

They could have done this, but some times they don’t take this route. And this time they need the hype for this update as the company is motivated by money not opinions.

and we as a playerbase should be taking into account balance, not going into their(developers) shoes and defending poor strategies, such as adding an OP vehicle to some nations and not adding similar vehicles to the other (pantsir, F-15E/I, EFT/Rafale etc)

also dev just got updated to .26 and even developers themselfs admitted that F-15E/I, EFT and Rafale are different from all the other aircraft by changing their BR to 14.0, wich means they(developers) knew this fact as well, when they added F-15E/I a month ago, just as @Bad_Karmaツ said:

Next big air update may well be the SU-30SM, JAS 39E, and J-10B/C which would bring the current worst top tier nations up to the level of the Eurofighter, Rafale, and F-15E/I.

Two of those aircraft have been leaked already, and the Gripen E doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch bringing it’s A2A loadout up to par with the rest of top tier by adding two pylons

Likely the 2nd update of the year
