Well don’t worry soon as they get hand on eurofighter they’ll dump f4 and mig-29g to the dumpster just like other that dump their old stuff because after i got eoro i’ll dump by mig 29g as well
i do worry cuz compression and imbalance in top tier air is almost insufferable…i don’t wan’t to play any 1 nation or aircraft all the time, cuz it would get boring. all i want is for the game to balanced so that i have motivation to play and open new trees other than just 1 wich is clearly supperior at the time.

but a true top tier plane we didn’t have, and against 13.7s it was always extremely inferior and that’s what the EFT makes right now
tbh I’m actually hoping for the EFTs, F-15E/I and Rafael to go to 14.0 just to decompress a little bit
what they should have done - introduce F-18C’s and everyone would be happy, but they didn’t, they choose to break already broken balance even further, that’s why a lot of people are mad.
it was too early for EFT/Rafale, other tech trees weren’t ready and still are not.

Aaand Gaijin obviouslly nerfed the Eurofighters’ supercruise ability, because they say that they think all the sources about it are exaggerating…
Just saying…there is nothing to complain about…Gaijin is already giving the Eurofighter fantasy nerfs.

then you don’t understand, we didn’t advocate for EFT/Rafale nerfs, all we advocated for similar airframes to be present in all the other tech trees.

F-18C would have gone to Usa, Germany, Sweden, Italy, maybe even Britain

Fighter generations aren’t clearly defined things anyway, what’s 4th gen to one person is 4.5 to another, same with 4.5 and 5th gen, you can’t ask where the other 4.5 gens are without defining what you mean by 4.5 gen

mainly because for once 4 usually Just below Meta nations get to be top dog
generally I’ve seen only acceptance from the USSR main part and slight annoyance from the SWE and JP communities
only the US and Chinese communities seem mad this time but that could just be my bubble

by now I believe it’s basically impossible that we see a Swiss Hornet in the German tree
there shouldn’t be any nation in game in the role of top dog, it’s imbalance in it’s perfect form…

usually those were US and USSR, in the current live meta the US and Israel are the OP nations with the F-15E and I
it doesn’t justify the imbalance, that it was like that before or for a long time or that it’s their turn to dominate.

Truth is, and what I believe the majority of people talking about the F-18 think…it’s LATE. F-18A at the very least could be in the game for over a year. F-18C (and Su-33) could’ve been added earlier this year, instead Gaijin decided to sling F-15s everywhere.
Nobody is saying the US NEEDS new planes every single update. They’re saying the Hornet should be in the game already lol. With things like EFT, Rafale and F-15E around, F-18C is probably heavily outclassed already, god even against the F-15C probably. Meta now is slinging AMRAAMs as high and fast as you can go, and I don’t think a Legacy Hornet would outclimb and outspeed the vast majority of its competition.
Also some response like “Oh but now you feel like other nations”, “It’s the US’ stime to get nothing” is absurdly shallow. F-4F ICE was added late, Su-33 should’ve been added months ago. Some East German planes also took longer than necessary to be added… so on and so on. This happens to everyone. And is happening with the Hornet for at least a year lol. It’s simply late, we’re better off with the Super Hornet atp.
