aim7f has easily more than double the range. r13m1 is not half as good as a 9g, and you get 2 of em compared to 4.
R-24R is a lot better than the AIM-7F, the R-24R is the only missile in rank 7 that has IOG, so when u lose the lock, the missile will track the enemy anyway, that doesn’t happen with AIM-7Fs.
Or that is as i know, when i fight with Phantoms, i normally win cuz their airframe is too heavy or my missiles hit before.
there pretty even counters
that happens with most 11.3+ fox 1s, what iog allows is to relock and change targets.
F4J examplifys the problem because no agile eagle yeah fun
arb isnt dogfights
yep and aim7F dont do that
at this range yes
sure they dont but they can reach twice as far
no it aint
ive played the br 90% of the time you fight F5 models or you fight other planes that dogfight you and mig 23 is probably the strongest 11.7
the only time you dont see furballs of planes is full uptiers to 13.0 when you see 120s
nah 99% of matches at 11.7 are against m1fc, bisons, f4s and other mig 23s. f5s arent THAT common. and whilst dogfighs happen, they dont happen that much.
that br is my most played br i quite like phantoms and the mig23.
there is no BVR combat at this br
they happen quite often dogfights stop at 13.0 and above
there no longer traditional GUN dogfights there missile dogfights now
sure, most fights happen at 15 kilometers and under though
all combat is ACM with some missile shots
Air combat manoeuvring (ACM) is the tactic of moving, turning, and situating one’s fighter aircraft in order to attain a position from which an attack can be made on another aircraft. Commonly associated with dogfighting
mig 23 is very good at this
this is just plain wrong though, fox 1s dominate the br, 99% of my kills come from 10< kilometers fox 1s. a small minority are dogfights.
