Looking at the ground vehicles in the Russian TT we can see that it lacks some variants of well-known tanks such as T-55, T-62, T-72, T-80 and T-90 that would hopefully bring some fun to the game.
I personally would love to see T-80(T-80UM-1) or T-90(T-90M Arena-M) with APS but that’s probably top-tier material so we’ll most likely see it in a year or so.
I’m really hoping to see these interesting variants: T-55: T-55AMV, T-55MV-1, T-55AMV-1, T-55M5, T-55M6
Some of them may be export versions but still im really waiting for them to show in the game, I think I’m not the only one - what do you all think? Should we see more variants like these?
Object 432, object 003 (T-64T), object 476 and object 219 sp1 (prototype of the T-80, but it’s an T-64T but with 1000hp turbine engine. So still a T-64)
Gaijin (and the community apparently) seem to be drooling over modern day high-tech stuff at the minute (on the ground and in the air). I doubt you’ll see anything from the Cold War era any time soon. Which is a shame. I hope I am wrong. Cold War needs to get some serious attention.
But, I can tell you one thing. WE DO NOT NEED MORE T-80s!
A model of the initial T-72B, without the Kontakt 1, would also be interesting. In addition, more models of the T-80 and T-72 with different hull armor would be welcome.
It would also be interesting to give all the T-54s the bullets they historically used, and add the T-54A.
And as I said before, the T-55AMV and T-62MV, but the 60° penetration of the 100mm 3BM25 and the 115mm 3BM21 should be reviewed, as they penetrate less at 60° than they should, since they are bullets with the same penetrator design as the 125mm 3BM22, and the statistics clearly show that the 60° penetration calculation for the 3BM22 is superior to that of the two previously mentioned. Also, after the ammunition correction, the T-55A should be equipped with the 3BM8, leaving it with the 3BM8.
