The actual problem is rather that you can’t recover once your team got wiped, because the next thing will be the enemy team camping at your spawn. And at that point you only will die instandly if you spawn again.
To solve this issue: The losing team needs to get a real chanche to turn the tables. Maybe with more spawnpoints and punishments for spawncampers.
You could always make shooting into spawn not a thing. They could increase the invulnerability time or just make shells disappear if firing into spawn to discourage people from just sitting there.
Grew lock makes me 1 death leave
I’m not sure you realise this, but you disagreed with me, then made no counterpoint. that’s a bit moronic. I’ll help you a bit, why don’t you think “everything else is selfishness or cynical”, surely even you can understand that.
You’re not going to hear me defending gaijin’s endless incredibly retarded decisions. but if you’re trying to talk to someone who doesn’t speak your language your entire point here is moot.
Unless you’re trying to say gaijin puts all the stock players on one team your point is so meaningless it’s laughable. both teams have an equal chance to have stock players.
Yes, most people are idiots. again, i’m not going to defend gaijin’s retarded decisions.
You didn’t adress my point at all. you have in no way even tried to deomstrate how grind deminishes teamwork in any way. try again maybe?
you can still get assists for hosing down vehicles, it’s just harder. “why bother”? so your teammates know where the enemy is, you’re sounding like you’re part of the problem.
This point appears inncredibly frivilous to me. but as a counter, do you think someone who was on the point for 1 second deserves the same reward as someone who was on the point for 15 or 30 seconds?
You are exactly the type of player that should be punished. it’s not gaijin’s job or responsibility to stop you being a peice of shit. and you possibly are violating gaijin’s game rules under section 6.1.4. Other actions that violate the principle of fair play. you are actively disadvantaging your team. it’s also funny that you say you don’t care, but that you always follow the rules, those are mutually exclusive.
Not at all, that’s a stupid and lazy copout. gaijin doesn’t make people ack like scumbags.
It does not matter what distribution of stock players is. The point is you cannot be sure if team mates will be able to help you or not. Especially at higher tiers as having APFSDS or HEAT-FS is massive difference. And if teamplay is handicaped by grindy game design, why bother with team play at all.
Sorry to tell you but entering queue with only one tank is not against rules. If it was, Gaijin would not be selling high premium vehicles where they know those players will play just one tank for hundred of battles. And this also eliminates 6.1.2 as a exploiting of flaws as this is more of intended mechanic that players can use. Also you start with 2 crew slots and you are not required to buy more in order to enter queue. And also there is no rule that says you have to take as much vehicles as you can. Rules must be as specific as possible or everyone can interpret them as they want and this rule is great example. I do not think that not trying put 100% effort to win a game in casual environment is against principle of fair play. Also they could easily add condition on when you can or cannot enter queue, we can already see that if you just take helicopter that it does not allow you to enter because it needs at least one ground vehicle.
Yes. If you want to encourage team play reward everyone. Why they should be punished trying to get into cap with slower vehicle?
Having like 2 useful radio messages does not help either. I basically ignore everything except Air Target and map ping because provided info in other messages is useless. If there were messages like in Apex Legends where they are so good you do not need anything else than I would not put this one as a problem that is against team play. Team communication is just crap in this game and gaijin only make it worse over years with that stupid timeout that allowed you to communicate at least with some other players.
Like I said, in grind game most people will focus their own gains. You cannot count on other players that they will have same mindset as you especially when reward is heavily tied to personal performance in battle. You can see it in games. When your team has capped all points in domination will they stay around points in order to protect them or they will push spawn in order to get as many kills as possible? I have never witnessed team that would protect cap points. It is always hard push to spawn and then you see your team getting whipped out by one smart guy that uses spawn protection to his advantage. And than you loose anyway because your team was too greedy to get kills. I have seen this so many times it is no longer funny. Also seeing people complaining about ODL on forum clearly shows how well works having grind game and team game together.
We all here also know that complaining about ODL will be as effective as asking for TO mode. Gaijin does not make changes while this game prints money for them, they will only make changes that make game worse like 16v16 in Air RB just to rise skill floor and lowering skill ceiling in order to make it easier for new potential customers. So in the end is up to you to adapt to game as game will not adapt to you. That is what I did and I do no plan to change that until Gaijin makes changes.
Not really I was just pointing out that you were wrong, and assigning blame to the wrong party.
I don’t one death leave, even a crummy match I’ll try and do whatever I’m able, even if it’s just rage against the inevitable. If I don’t have enough vehicles to make a full lineup I either expect to use my boosters or I don’t play that BR and play one I do have a lineup for. But I also basically just play in Arcade Ground.
I’m not allowed to respawn in ARB, so I leave after one death.
Dont you think that its stupid you cant respawn if you get team killed early when taking off or something? Its like a dpuble punishment.
All I can say is that due to the stupid high cost and boring grind around 6 to 8 BR I am just playing one vehicle at a time simply to grind them so after one life I am gone. If that upsets anybody then tough titty.
Nah, I personally love the one life mechanic of ARB. I’ve been shot down 1 time by friendlies on takeoff in my whole time in War Thunder, and it was my own buddy dicking around with my RWR with his radar and he fat fingered his fire button on accident.
That said, I’d just do what I normally do after being killed in any match. Start a new one.
Nah, in ARB you can very quickly requeue and be back into a new match.
I play as bomber our defences are worthless and most cases to dame so ill bomb and crash then move on. I dont care if I cant fly agin ill move on to ships
