What is your banned map and why?

Fire arc.

Absolutely depressing, even when you are winning it’s not fun

City for Air RB.
They took away the air spawn and made it no fun :(

Ground : Vietnam (Too dark, no more room for maneuver)
Air : Korea
Naval : Japanese Port

GOD! cant agree more pal
Feel gross about tooooo many CQB

Sands of Sinai, takes too long to get anywhere, poorly placed cover, one side sniping the other from 2+km, nothing fun or dynamic about it.

Sweden. CQB only maps suck. Too many angles and corner-camping to worry about.

That’s right. Sweden has wonderful landscapes to offer and the red houses would look wonderful on green and winter maps.

Or take the open-cast mine in Kiruna as a model.

Flanders because in top tier is almost sniper from hull down tanks. You can sniper the op team spawn from the A and C cap points and the trenches give the op team some advantage for shooting at your top.

None.
I don’t dislike any map enough to risk a longer wait in the lobby.

Sveresk. Is horrible bad designed and reach spam levels.

But another shit urban flat maps like Ardennes, cargo, American Desert, Abandoned Town, Alaska or Sun city are instant crewlock since the day one.

I think they removed Aral Sea. Never popular from the start. I actually quite liked it, one of the first maps where I started to get kills as a newbie. You could go desert or town; you had a choice. Not anymore. It’s gone.

Oh man, that’s great news! I can finally ban Sinai.

lol ,yeah I couldn’t see it at all on my map list.

The new Sinai is terrible, I loved it how it was.
Every time I get good on a map or find one I like Gaijin remove it or hack it to bits. I play War Thunder less and less as a result of the map collapse of the last couple of updates.

Depends on the BR I’m playing but:

Fire Arc or Berlin.

Fire Arc

Well I didn’t ask this question just to answer it myself but Iike those two maps.
Both very different to each other .Im quite interested to know why you dislike two very, almost opposite maps.

I wonder with big open maps whether some players fail to understand the amount of cover hilly terrain can give you, if you look you see nothing but i you really look there is plenty of cover. Off course the whole thing falls apart when CAS comes in. Kind of connects this thread to the No CAS debate.

Fire arc is game over when the enemy has taken the cap and the CAS comes in, might as well leave there and then. No cover and you are just spawning as a sacrifice to enemy planes. Maybe some maps should have you spawn in a forest or something.

Berlin: Isn’t a good map to me it has a spawn to spawn sniping problem plus I was never a fan of the “Fake dead tanks”

Fir Arc: Flat open map. So spawn to spawn sniping. I don’t find that fun at all.

High and Top tier?

Of course hence the

As you don’t really see Fire Arc at WW2 BRs.

You do, I get it regularly, and I don’t play above 6.

I can’t believe Gaijin expect WW2 and top tier to use the same maps pretty shocking error at a basic level.
