From someone who plays the upper ratings of this range quite a bit I’ll put the most notorious ones to me, from strongest to weakest. I might be hated for a few of these opinions…
F106, F4D, ariete, F89d, Su-11, bis ish mig15 are the best for their rating in theory ignoring matchmaking trends.
Overall best experience in average matches though is probably the premium 9.7 mig21 as newer players are obsessed with ignoring the radar guided r3 and ramming into them. Extremely easy plane to abuse and a great pickup on sale

the squadron hunter at 10.0 is nuts
of its respective br its the MB326, that thing is OP as all hell.
the L39 albatross is another good shout because its an OP trainer jet that will always be eating props that cant fight it.
mig 19 is very strong and toxic too

have you seen how it sustains turns? its like the hunter and f-5 in that sense. for a subsonic at supersonic interceptor BR it certainly does incredibly well
you didn’t explain calling it toxic, mig19 also is supersonic itself, not subsonic
you ever face a player that is obviously trash but you cant do anything about because the plane is carrying? Its that kind of toxic as it just poisons the game for people trying to use balanced planes. Same situation as the hunter and F-5.

yeah, most engagements have some element of this, but mig19 isnt brainless and does require the pilot to understand things about it to do well
MiG-19 IS balanced currently. It doesn’t have real missiles, it has no flares, it isn’t fast relative to other supersonics, it has low-ish ammo count. It gets a god tier dogfighting FM in exchange for all of this. You can say it is oppressive in downtiers and I’d say yea thats 99% of jets right now in our current historic high compression

If we are talking about toxicity, I don’t think anything beats the F-106 if played right. It’s just a faster and more maneuverable F-104 at the same BR.
I’d say the F-106, MiG-19s, F-104s, and F-100s are the best 9.3s by a decent margin.

ive seen too many mig 19s just do vertical loops because nothing can keep up, you cant safely extend out from those guns, unless its the lightning or 106 at high alts.
Its oppressive even when its a 10.0 match, most the missiles of the BR arent good enough to need flares either.
oh yea 100% the F-106 is undertiered. Its a lightning but significantly better overall (lightnings radar is goated tho) really ought to be 9.7.

the last guy often is a mig 19 so it turns into that rubbish far too often for me to like that BR bracket.
only plane i can think of that the mig 19 is free food for is the mirage 5f that gets magic 1s at 10.0 for some ungodly reason. or the ariete if the mig somehow got really slow
