Wierdly. I dont mind the 7.7mm props (Hurricanes and spits with 8-12x 7.7mm are quite fun to play) and actually prefer the 4x 7.7mm + 2x 20mm Spits over the 2x 12.7mm + 2x 20mm Spits.
I think the biggest issue is damage drop off and needing a good aim
Adding the P51k/D30 to my Mid list, I love the D20NA but the D30 is kind of eh. Maybe it will get better once I spade it, but for now, not a fan.
Anyway, this right here is one of many reasons I hate props. Toxic players. Just for reference the LuxTheSlav guy is insulting a Quing6 player while he’s flying a Hornet Mk.III that was orbiting in space and did nothing the whole game. Also toxic squads that flame you when you extend or refuse to pitch up for their headons.

I spaded the P51K and damn. The switch in performance really got me looking like this, I will never badmouth a stock plane again.
I also crewed the chinese Ki 61, and I’m not a fan. Decent plane but it’s just too slow for my tastes.
Likewise, could be due to the Hispanos and Browning .303s having very similar velocity? I usually use stealth belts for both, but if I find my aim is skill issuing one day I can always just put my .303s on tracers and retain the insane damage of the Hispanos on stealth belts due to the velocity being very similar
I just use stealth on both belts, and I have no idea, but I just find the damage on the 50cals just feel bad
They are sub-par most of the time, I too would generally rather the 4x 7.7s but it’s mostly the velocity similarities for me

Vampire is a 7.0 at 8.0, whereas the Attacker is a fantastic 7.0 (the flaps greatly help this plane)

They have the M2 but I think they might have less velocity for some reason idk, the best belt is stealth rounds at AP-I, AP-I, AP-I, I, I,
I dunno, I got to the attacker and it was painful. That said, this was in the days before the hunter f6 or the scimitar even so things may have changed. All I remember is that I found myself struggling against all the German and soviet jets at the BR.
Vampire at 7.0? I don’t know, it does deserve to go down but its slower than even the earliest of jets. It’s only real main upsides are its turn-time and its quad 20mm Hispano’s, but the belt’s horrid, it has horrible MER, and worse acceleration than again— the earliest of jets. It’ll get pushed around by props pretty easily.
It’s good for 7.3 though IMO.
Granted, air is the less played mode of mine.
Ive just spaded it yesterday. The flaps are nice I guess but good lord, spading it was the most unfun experience I had in this game, probably ever.
Even with engine upgrades I feel like Im doing nothing to help the team for the first five minutes of game when im sideclimbing, and even then I find a spitfire or yak for some ungodly reason to be at higher alt than me.

La 11 has this weird handling, like the helldiver. It’s not “snappy” as other planes.
