Buccaneer S.2, just high enough in BR to face planes that slaughter it and no offensive weaponry to defend itself (other than a pair of AIM-9Bs, woooow!)

(this plane broke my “going to spade every plane” ambition…it’s spaded now, but it was probably the longest by far (years))

Certainly a contender in general, but I’m not sure if compressor blades count as a “prop” (as per the topic) :)
For a relatively high br prop fighter, I have to say I’m not a fan of the French f8f at 6.0. It’s basically a 4.0 FM, but heavier, that sits at a high BR only because of its guns. It doesn’t climb particularly well, is more suited in low altitude fight, but gets out accelerated and out limbed by basically everyone
Honestly it’s so bad that I think it might as well go against props xD

Honestly, what role does it fit that isn’t looking cool? It gets outmanoeuvred by literally anything at its br and has to get up close to use it’s cannon for cas, which at that point just use a dive bomber as it can actually avoid punishment. Also have fun trying to swat anything airborne with the 102mm.
Pretty sure it was Rank 4 at one time, but now it’s Rank 1 (and foldered)… speaks volumes!
In AirRB it’s facing AI tanks that fast, maneuverable fighters/strike with 20mm can defeat, and as a “ship killer” it can’t shoot the AI ships either. I think landing craft is probably the biggest “ship” it can destroy with the big gun.
Dang, truly the nothing burger of its time. I usually play AAB and spaded it there. I’m pretty sure it couldn’t even knock out pillbox.
It’s sole purpose is looking neat at a low br and being brought up as warthunder triva in conversations and YouTube videos.

I legit bought the premium jewfire to escape that horrid thing. And I hate spitfires.
So yeah, hate spitfires, especially the clipped wings variants, I HATE them. I find spits slow and boring to fly, their guns are also terrible thanks to the recent HE bug, give me a P51 instead, now that’s a real plane.
I also hate the Ki-43-III ko and its bigger brother, that rudder makes me want to strangle someone, never flew something that unstable before, if you fly it too much you start to turn into the jonkler.
The D.520 is abysmal, I’ve never flown something with guns this bad, it’s also painfully slow, I assume its engine was lifted from a moped or a vaccum cleaner.
The SB2C is a meme, and anyone with a brain will easily clap you, it only works because people force headons every time they can and then you win but in an actual fight you lost before it even began.
XP50, boring, annoying gun placements, just a weird and forgettable aircraft.
The J5N1 made me suicidal when I tried it, I did well in it but my god it’s SO SLOW, it’s just painful to fly.
I hated the I-225, yeah its got potential or whatever but again the playstyle it requires made me want to stick my limbs in a woodchipper on the “gentle dismemberment” setting.
I really don’t understand why people say this. I’ve had nothing but fun in my D-20-NA.

I actually quite like the Buc S2. Its just screwed over by compression and bad ARB design. Could get Napalm too which would be a solid buff. Awesome fun in ASB though. Its the Buc S1 that sucks at the moment
There’s the obvious answer of the Tandem MAI, but I personally hate the B-29 (not the TU-4, that one is good). Fighting jets with a bad airframe and .50 cals.
Probably the Gladiator biplane - it just falls out of the air after like two turns while constantly going up against stuff that doesn’t.
I plan to actually, I unlocked the chinese one and I from test flights I can already tell I’m going to have fun :)
btw the ki-43-III isn’t a bad plane and it’s easy to do well in it, but the rudder just kills any enjoyment I have for the thing.
