So I had the idea of a new Feature. What about an option that every player can change? An option next to the button to choose the gamemode which gives you 3 levels to choose:
Level 1: short waiting time but high chance of uptiers Level 2: medium waiting time but it´s being tried more to get a match around your Br Level 3: Long waiting time but very low chance of having a Br difference of more than +/- .3
Level 1 would be how it is right now.
I think that would be a great option because the ones that want quick matches and don´t really care about the Br can choose so but all the players who often expierience crazy uptiers where they are being killed very quick from higher Br Aircrafts (8.0 to 9.0 or 12.0 to 13.0 are good examples) can choose to have less of those games by accepting longer waiting times.
What do you guys think about that? Would you use it? Is there a problem with it that I´m missing?

While good in theory, you need to consider that gamers will optimize the fun out of everything. If you can wait 15 minutes to not get uptiers a significant amount of players will do that even if it’s a lot more boring for them. I’d much rather have some sane decompression. It’s similar in function (increasing queue times for better match making), but it doesn’t allow for players to optimize away fun.
sometimes, i wish there was an option to disable getting uptiered as well as disabling downtiers in return.
Some br’s are just unplayable due to the amount of uptiers they face, and the major difference btwn those vehicles. the compression at some br’s mean all you can face are uptiers at certain times

“Decompress” (I’ll believe it works when my 5.3 lineups stop facing Jagdpanthers on a regular basis) or reduce the BR gap down from 3 pegs to 2 or… allow us to choose.
I really don’t care HOW they do it - just friggin do something. Getting battle-pass tasks finished when you are in a full uptier is so frustrating.
