The funny thing is the players themselves who set the price? irony how players complaining about ridiculous high price of premium items, then when they get the chance to call the shot: “I’ll sell this $2000 haha it’s called Supply and Demand bro!”
You don’t gain any RP progress towards an ace crew until you buy Expert Qualification.
This is my F8U-2.
It has 200 ARB games, 9 ASB game.
200 5 minute, 9 90 minute games it gained zero RP progress towards the
Why?
capped 15 minutes.
This is my best paying plane and new planes also cost easily a million (700K for F8E, 210K to crew it)
Same extends to my F3H-2: No expert crew because it costs 450K.
Edit:
Went into a vertical “One-circle” fight with an XP-50 in my Bf109F-4 that has level 2 G/stamina:
Passed out doing a maneuver I’ve seen plenty of Bf109F4s do without an issue when I fight them.
A maneuver I also have zero issues doing in my P-51 that has maxed crew.
Cropping this thing down to 4MB was a pain.
Problem isn’t blacking out. If anything, WW2 pilots should black out more easily than in-game.
The problem is that one player performing the same maneuver in the same plane under the same conditions blacks out, while the other doesn’t even see a hint of vignette.
One person blacks out from a 7G maneuver, the other can sustain 7G indefinitely without G suit or anything.
So is having a better PC, or better ping. ULQ is absolutely necessary for low-end stuff, especially stuff without a graphics card, and sound/sight mods are generally fine, with only a small minority of players abusing them.
As for console… to be honest, y’all are always going to get shafted. Consoles are inherently less… open then PCs, and until that changes, you are going to be at a deficit. I really dont think this is something that should mean sound mods should be banned - its just an inherent, unfortunate disadvantage of consoles, similar to how PCs also have far more keys.
One of the main reasons why I expert crew first before starting to play a vehicle.
I only really play vehicles that I know will be at least somewhat fun too.
One thing for sure it’s unfair for players who have 200-300 ping to the closest server, they will need to spend enough to max out the loader skills just to offset their high latency when playing against players with 40 ping lol correct me if I’m wrong, if they don’t have loader skill then they are at disadvantage due to high latency
About bushes: When they were available in packs of 6, I bought the large bush pack and placed them everywhere on my tanks. However, despite the significant advantage they provide, I removed them and never used them again a few months later. I grew tired of the similar appearance of all my vehicles, and since I use the true scope in RB (with grass in sight), I couldn’t see anything. Properly placing the bushes without obstructing my field of view was very challenging.
As a result, playing without bushes, barrel sight, or grass is a handicap, but my overall experience feels much better and more immersive. I chose the hard way, and I’m fine with being seen and landing moderately accurate shots.
It is me or I see it more like pay to lose especially high tier?
because every time when my team full of horde of Premium vehicle I mostly end up lose?
I would be interested to know what paying gives you apart from the ability to climb through the ranks quicker to top BR ? Bushes seem to make you more noticeable on most maps and you have great arrows giving your position away anyway.
Crew skills in terms of re load are likely to be no more of an issue than your internet connection on a world wide or continental level you are talking such a small increase and how often to you get into a quick draw situation with an identical tank anyway?
Those who never paid will never experience the game from the view point of those who paid a lot.The fact you paid and still get whacked from half way across the map by a non payer you didn’t even see. That will either happen or it wont regardless of how much you spend.Even the top spenders and even the top players are getting whacked at top tier from a plane a mile away they cant even see .
There is no equality built into WarThunder any way at any level.Even BR1 has level 100 veterans with years of experience and free prize or battle pass vehicles that new players can no longer buy. The whole Ptw thing seems like a moot point in such an unequal game with so many permutations. If the game was free for all it would still be unbalanced in so many ways.
Those who play for free are just convinced the world is against them.My advice is if you are so wound up about it either don’t play or spend some cash and see for yourself how little changes for you. At least you can shed the victim mentality.
Nah i just feeling that paying isn’t make them has advantages over the enemy it exactly opposite if the game is really pay to win
Click bait horde wouldn’t be a total deadweight like we see nowadays
Plane A, ace crew:
Can sustain ~6.2G/6.9G (with suit) without a hint of passing out. Maintain full situational awareness. Able to exceed 7G for unrealistic maneuvers at absurd speeds with a time limit.
Time to acquire an ace crew playing purely ASB,
Bf109F4 useful actions come out at ~1800 per 15 minutes, 470 for landing for a 86% reward cycle
So, 2270 per 15 minutes.
Exceeding 92% reward is practically impossible. At 1050 score, you get 92% reward indicated on statcard. At 1950, you get 93.15. Score is calculated every 15 minutes.
Flying the Bf109F4 and only that requires 500K RP to reach maximum G/stam. 500K RP takes, let’s round up to 2300… 54 hours of flying ( 500,000 / 2300 * 15 / 60 = 54 ). You need, on top of this, 280K to get ace crew.
280,000 / 2300 * 15 / 60 = ~30 hours (calulation less exact as it depends on when you buy expert mode). This is not considering that you need a level 35 crew to get ace and my 5/5/5/5 keen/aware/G/stamina naval fighter crew is only 31.5.
A base level crew can sustain 4.5Gs.
This is the consequence of flying a plane with 4.8 max G tolerance:
you black out from doing a dive and pulling up after your target.
Meanwhile with my maxed crew, I could accelerate to 720 km/h, yank the stick back and pivot in place 180 degrees and barely start blacking out.
Beyond a difference of 1.7Gs for no G-suit, you also get Keen vision and awareness.
Did you know, that in a game mode without markers and purely visual spotting you’d think was determined only by player skill… Keen vision/Awareness make a difference? Crew skills can literally make a plane you’re looking at phase out of existence because you don’t have an aced crew.
Alternative to all these handicaps, you can pay money and start doing 7G+ maneuvers without even seeing vignettes immediately.
>Play free to play game
>It has borderline pay to win mechanics
Imagine the shock
Half of my team always leave after first death. It might be advantage but players are not using it anyway. You rarely see someone with more than 3 deaths in game. Not to mention when you play properly game is pretty much decided after you respawn 3 times.
Not true, like you said you can get them in Warbond shop. Sure if you have just one vehicle in your lineup you can burn through them very quickly.
Like that 0.45 seconds faster repload speed on M46?
How many times have you died just because your oponent had better crew level?
Most of it is just coping. Like this post.
Its free to play game so yes they do.
Exactly, I have like 100 backups on various vehicles I like and never bought any for GE. They are super easy to get if you are active player.
