War Thunder is Going to die in 2-4 Years

There’s an easy solution: create an in-game poll. When you open the game, a notification should appear asking you to choose from several potions, and you can select your preference. This way, we’ll know what most players want.

I suggest an in-game poll because it’s well known that many players don’t visit the forum, so having the poll in-game will allow more people to participate.

Personally, I don’t mind having a single game mode, but that mode should be the three-base mode, permanently eliminating the team-based mode and, above all, the single-base mode (the designer who came up with that stupid idea should be fired). In short, for me, the best thing would be much larger maps with three or even four bases.

The fact they’re trying to justify their copy-paste tactics is pretty telling.

We didn’t even get an official follow up response.

First game of the day. In three minutes, after the first (and some second) deaths, 9 out of the 16 players on my team left the game. The game is running well and people are really eager to play haha.

With how much their revenue decrease and the money they remove from the company, I think Gaijin knows this aswell.

rather have copy paste prems than one of a kind stuff

As would I, but that’s not how Gaijin have been doing it.

If they dont fix the turm tank its going to be much less than that for me. Im pretty sure Im only here because of sunk cost fallacy. And id wager it applies to most others too

Iv already been looking at switching games. Arma reforger looks too good to pass now the modders are doing bits

I have 10 min queue times every match…all matches start with half the players and of those they all mostly bail on 1st death.

I agree…The CAS problem makes it where only 1 death is worth it. I refuse to engage with that BS any longer

“Effectively killed” yet I see 206107 players currently active. The game is far from dead, stop bitching about it

I’ve never had a queue longer than 40 seconds. Can you take a screenshot of you having such a long queue and could you say what BR and nation you are playing?

Yes for now if you read my post could you argue against it?

The game is declining and no one believes the current Devs can save it.

Ever since I started playing 2 years ago. The games peak was around 200 000. The all time peak was also highest this year

That will not be sustained if the game continues it’s trend. What are premium players going to grind when they run out of top tier additions. We are basically there.
for ground and air vehicles.

You will not sell 90 dollar premiums of a Stug IV or a 70s Russian tank.

We realistically have 2 years before Gen 5 airframes, that will spark a new wave of premiums of the current Gen 4.5 and then tanks we have T-90M2/T-14 Leopard 2A8 we are close to being done with top tier. Even if they stagger the releases they have 5 - 10 years tops

Have you a proof for that?

i think its okay because it helps prevent someone like maiwaffentrager from forging documents again

This should not be the expectation. Do you know how long it can take to digitise a manual? There’s a reason museums charge for this. Some of the manuals I own go into 300+ pages, that means I’d have to take a photo of every single page because you can’t scan these documents. If you do it will damage or destroy them. Then you have to potentially edit each individual photo and combine them into a single PDF. Gaijin are expecting us to do hours of work for free.

The other thing is, we, the community pay for these with our own money. These are collectors items and lose a ton of value if made available freely online. Gaijin are asking us to devalue our assets and hand things over to them for free.

There’s other issues too, such as, if you requested these from the Tank Museum for example you are restricted in what you can share with these documents. So Gaijin are expecting us to break signed contracts.

then you already broke that contract by making the report

sure then keep the manual to yourself and the vehicle stays as it is in WT

and it is not like it will be openly avaiable to the internet if you attach it correctly to the report

so why wouldnt you want to preserve them if they are that fragile

True

To be honest, the dev team could make more per update if they really wanted but lets be honest, the community will never be pleased even if you give them what they want

  • im still waiting for CAS to get nerfed on GRB,when Gaijin will increase the SP cost even further?

games been around since 2012/13 and its now mid 2026 all this time while going against the juggernaut know as wot. If it was to die it would have already happened long ago, but that doesnt mean your not wrong about some points made. the game is in serious need of a makeover concerning core aspects like Br ratings, game modes, just to name a few. i see this game going a lot longer then 2-4 years but how long depends on gaijin.
