Continues to play the same genre where the game modes are there & demands change.
There’s a reason Battlefield’s conquest is everywhere, because it’s the most popular for its consistency & balance.
Ground is fun for me, because I come from Battlefield & the game mode is a well tuned game mode with 24 years of service.
There’s an easy solution: create an in-game poll. When you open the game, a notification should appear asking you to choose from several potions, and you can select your preference. This way, we’ll know what most players want.
I suggest an in-game poll because it’s well known that many players don’t visit the forum, so having the poll in-game will allow more people to participate.
Personally, I don’t mind having a single game mode, but that mode should be the three-base mode, permanently eliminating the team-based mode and, above all, the single-base mode (the designer who came up with that stupid idea should be fired). In short, for me, the best thing would be much larger maps with three or even four bases.

First game of the day. In three minutes, after the first (and some second) deaths, 9 out of the 16 players on my team left the game. The game is running well and people are really eager to play haha.

With how much their revenue decrease and the money they remove from the company, I think Gaijin knows this aswell.

I have 10 min queue times every match…all matches start with half the players and of those they all mostly bail on 1st death.
I agree…The CAS problem makes it where only 1 death is worth it. I refuse to engage with that BS any longer
Gaijin have effectively killed the game, the measures they have taken as follows.
Top tier premiums - Ooh boy where to start, buying into top tier now makes the pinnacle and the reason to want to climb the trees meaningless. New players are buying into the game and ruining the experience for other players, by not being very good, by team killing or just toxic gameplay that they have learned from content creators we are seeing more and more premium players ignoring objectives and rushing to the spawn to rack up kills and try and get a “nuke”. Many established players consider top tier just no fun and it is these trends and drive to make the game accessible to anyone with a credit card. That have lead to the beginning of the end for War Thunder
Balancing decisions - Now this one can be fixed but as time goes on we have seen how Gaijin operate to sell more premium vehicles they under tier them. This creates a miserable experience again for players who can no longer enjoy the BR these new vehicles are destroying. Recent notable additions, BMP-T a tank added with no damage model, farmed everything from 13.0 to 10.3 for Months but it sold so well, no changes were made. We are repeating the cycle with the Su-30 (Premiums) all hilariously under tiered facing some aircraft that do not even have an all aspect PD Radar!
Gaijin need to break away from the Russian favouritism and aim for balanced gameplay, if they do not many Western players will stop playing the game, not everyone has the time or energy to grind out another tree and to be honest why should they. The game needs balance and currently and for the past 2 or so years we do not have it.
Political/National affiliations - It is a delicate subject but there is clear evidence to suggest that Gaijin are portraying a certain nations vehicles better than they actually are to fit a narrative. This country in game must be seen as being in the top 3 for everything, from SAMs to questionable air to ground missiles to paper battleships that could physically never perform like they do in game. It is one thing to support a community and when your core player base is from that country. It is a whole another thing to use the game as a vehicle to promote one nation. Gaijin need to remember they have players from all over the world and this strategy is already driving players away.
Finally Gaijin are losing interest - They make no effort to change maps (they get a reskin) but they do not produce new maps they simplify maps for new players and most battles at top tier are over distances below 600m.
The game will not end overnight but the seeds are in place now and many players will just stop playing if those trends continue which we all know they will.

I’ve never had a queue longer than 40 seconds. Can you take a screenshot of you having such a long queue and could you say what BR and nation you are playing?

Ever since I started playing 2 years ago. The games peak was around 200 000. The all time peak was also highest this year
That will not be sustained if the game continues it’s trend. What are premium players going to grind when they run out of top tier additions. We are basically there.

You will not sell 90 dollar premiums of a Stug IV or a 70s Russian tank.
We realistically have 2 years before Gen 5 airframes, that will spark a new wave of premiums of the current Gen 4.5 and then tanks we have T-90M2/T-14 Leopard 2A8 we are close to being done with top tier. Even if they stagger the releases they have 5 - 10 years tops
