I will mention the Gepards and the rest of the 35mm SPAA as a response, because all of them will do this. The XM246 just has a wonky center of mass thanks to the breeches or computer eating a comically large amount of spall/APHE, or even just being too thin to fuse in the first place. This is why you always aim for the cheeks on that specific vehicle. Ammo is more reliable than the crew compartment. Even if it magically doesn’t blow up, it won’t have any ammo to fire back.

In other words, this wasn’t bias. Where you shot was the gun’s breech, which unrealistically ate that shell. Like other vehicles will do when shot in that particular spot. It’s a stupid mechanic/bug and needs to be addressed.

Lastly, APHE is overpowered, because that is exactly what he nuked you with thanks to being able to just spam shots until one slips through an armor crack/periscope/one tiny weak spot. Honestly, I’m amazed the game even registered you fired at all. If I died at the very moment I heard my shot go off, the server would have just not registered it firing at all.

many of these cancer SPAA exist long before the American xm246 but somehow the US one is biased, sure.

I also made a discussion post about these cancerous SPAA around 8.3-9.0 but majority people voted that it’s balanced, oh well.

Yes bro I just got the game like 5 days ago, still learning bro please be patience

Let’s be real, it’s the combination of the 35mm firing rate and overpressure cause the problems, as it phased through the armor. This is an ongoing problem for how long already, and it seems like they don’t know how to fix it.

yeah probably the game tends to get confused by too many bullets

I play the xm247 a lot and I can say that it’s insanely survivable cuz there is a lot of internal module on the turret which kinda back fires cuz instead of nerfing these tank, it just keep absorbing the spall lol. Not to mention the armor is buggy and sometime i just take no damage after taking a direct hit from leopard APDS round and stuff.

the 35mm rarely overpressure, its the nuke post pen dmg known as APHE thats killing everything

35mm spaas are kinda broken, they get the most insane kills by ricocheting into weak points and still have decent post pen despite being tiny shells. Ur shell probably didn’t fuse cuz the armour on that spaa is paper thin, just use he against it.

No, HE will not work against the 246.

Bait or just BEN being special as always?

You know it’s bait. That’s why he didn’t post this in the existing topic about overperforming APHE.

I’d say bait or crashout. Also it’s БЕИ or if you wanna transliterate it’s BEI

The 35mm API-T cannot overpressure.
It has 22g of Hexal and 37.4g of TNT Equivalent which is not even half of the required threshold.

The round did fuze on the first plate struck (given that it hit the turret center mass) as its 25.4mm RHA, XM246 has spaced armour in the front, which consists of;
25.4mm RHA (first plate)
empty space
25.4mm RHA
and another plate of unknown thickness/type (likely 25.4mm Aluminium Alloy 7039)

The APHE did not detonate within, nor could the fragments reach the crew-compartment.

USA BIAS ??? Really, seriously, stop smoking cheap dope mixed with stale dogfood and come back to reality. I know all Russian mains are high on their own supply, but sheesh at least be in the same solar system as the rest of us … 🙄🫤😑 🐌🐌🐌
