USA bias again, Object 140 & APHE both useless

My friend, this is a game where Yak-9K takes 2 30mm shells to the wingtip and it stays attached, 1 HVAP and 1 M-geschoss.
This is a game where A7M1 tanks 2 37mm M-geschoss and is fine afterwards.
This is a game where Yak-9K casually tanks 37mm on regular basis and half the time it doesn’t even fuse because of plywood bug 2.0, intentionally introduced to the game by Gaijin some time after they fixed plywood bug 1.0 which was in the game for like 10 years.

This is a game where premik Bf 109 F4 tanks 3 37mm M-geschoss and flies fine because if Yak-9K can do it, then why not Bf.

This is the state of the game we are playing. And most of the comunity doesn’t give a rats … about it, so Gaijin is not even bothering to fix bugs, and they are happy to add new ones.

This topic may not be about any bugs, but it’s about frustration. And main factors causinf ir are horrible balance, broken terrain hitboxes, weapon inconsistency, horrible game mechanics:

  • Real Shatter 3.0, where there’s barely any difference between 23mm and 37mm,
  • volumetric that completely ignores real physics, see this shot below? In what alternate reality does the shell keep going ALONG armor plate? It would deviate slightly to the side (armor to the right, air to the left, shell takes the path of least resistant in such cases!) and hit 45mm of armor. But in WT that’s a non-pen with shell disappearing into thin air.

Saw Maus got killed the same way on leddit, furthermore through its angled turret lol I hope they don’t double down this like how they make drones able to scout targets

This most certainly is just bugged ammo-name display, which is actually quite common. This was HEI that hit an armour hole and overpressured the IS4.

I have gotten many kills where it said it was e.g. a 7.62mm bullet, when it was infact Begleit SAP that killed the target.

But this is also a perfect example of why the core issue isnt the 35mm API-T but gaijins horrendous armour models, especially ever since volumetric was introduced.
