new sounds are amazing, especially for ground forces
The updated sound of an artillery strike is particularly disgusting.
I could care less about the sounds at this point. They could record anton saying “pew pew” and make that the cannon sounds and i would care less. My gripe is that they keep changing them every single bloody update. Just stop, its a pvp game, its so bloody tilting having to re=adjust to sounds every single update especially when sound is crucial when dealing with opponents.
Imagine fps games changing the sound of foot steps every update,
Yeah, a single strike sounds great but for some reason the sounds dont overlap properly and sound awful

Yeah, i don’t like regular changes to sound and would like to be able to use something like mod or maybe ingame variants of sound which we were able to hear in updates before. But im fine with this, i guess…
I flew my P-40C and in Air RB and you can’t tell the difference between 7.62 and .50 cal sounds. The latter sound like a .22. This is the worst sound update yet. They don’t need to “update” gun sounds that sound good and realistic and that most people find acceptable. Whoever this person is that needs to change the gun sounds every few updates for job security needs to be fired or reassigned. I agree that the gun sounds need to be reverted to those prior to the Tusk Force update.
I think tank main guns sound good, but plane cannon and machine guns sound worse.
The sound of the TPK 6.41 is quite horrible, very annoying, almost unbearable.

New sound bug for me.
I hear random atgms fire near me, i cant figure out what causes it or when it happens.
the last match it happened to me i was on north holand, there was no enemy or friendly near me and i heard the atgm fire next to me as if there was something there. Couldnt have been enemy becuase my team was in their spawn, so either a heli or a friendly firing an atgm caused it.
I wonder if that would be audible from your perspective in the replay
HRM, that would be very interesting to check. @VeloxNimbus can you paste a replay link to the match in question? Hopefully not too many matches to look through, especially since you remember which map it happened on.
(Also, are you using any sound mods, or just plain stock WT Sounds?)
Nah the 215m tracks and engine sound limit from 2.45.1.50 is still there.
Makes flanking too easy and the game feel cheap.
