OH I see @Pacifica my apologies but you are often active but it seems we got another rude individual. Who refuses to have a civilized conversation?
Only ever playing against your exact BR would be terrible, there would be no variety at all, you’d be facing like 10 of the same tank and 6 of some other tank, all the same, every time.
I agree that +/- 1 is not fun, and it should be +/- 0.7 probably, but definitely not +/- 0.0, that’s worse than +/- 1
It is not any easier or harder to dogfight in AB vs RB, with the sole exception afaik of wing/flap rip, which actually differs between the two and may allow an OCCASIONAL fancier maneuver. (that said, the enemy can also do the occasional fancier maneuver against you)
But other than that, the physics models are exactly the same but just sped up as if you were fast forwarding a VHS video tape in AB. You can turn 25% faster, but your opponent can also turn precisely 25% faster, and you can climb 25% faster, but your opponent can climb 25% faster, and blah blah. So you cannot do anything versus any opponent that you couldn’t do in the other mode. It would just be the same fight, but as if you recorded it on video and then fast forwarded that fight.
I often just use stealth belts. Most in Arcade seem to have difficulties realizing you shooting at them till it’s too late. Although that is when I rarely play it now.
At like BR 2.0 maybe yeah
I don’t think it’s dependant on BR in the slightest… People in all BRs are blind in various forms.
Well then start reading some statistics - and you will be enlightened on the fact, that downtired players/Vehicles quite often have the highest kill ration … Take a wild and realistic guess on WHY ?
That’s just your opinion… Just saying…
Agreed with this interpretation 100%.
There are opinions (feelings/guessing’s) - and there are FACTS … based on statistical numbers. Two very different things, when making conclusions. Just saying …
I got same experiences and on top the daily battle tasks. For example the task where you gonna cap multiple times to get the award. You get only matches where each team has one cap.
15 wins for a battle task? Say hello to a loss streak. My worst was 10 in a row while I was 80% 1st or 2nd in the stats and as a bonus I got full uptier battles.
That is why I focus on scouting tasks and kill players with a specific tank task.
But who is gonna sit down and write all this down to gather statistical values? Maybe I quit my job and do this fulltime ^^
I decided to move from guessing and feeling into knowledge. For a period of time, and to prove my point, i made statistics in an Excel sheet - which confirmed my immediate assumptions and experiences in battles.
If Gaijin made a game-mode with Maximum BR levels (+/- O,3 BR), then we can adjust our line-up’s accordingly… and problem solved.
This is just anecdotal, and you can affect that.
The biggest one is not everything in someones lineup everyone will spawn… That will skew your data.
Either you don’t understand what I’m writing - or you’re not the “sharpest knife in the drawer”… because this is primarily about choosing whether or not we want to participate in matches with BR +1 opponents. If you do not want this kind of unequal and unfair matches, you should be able to choose a maximun BR level (+/- 0.3) that you want to participate in. and thus opt out of Gaijin’s current unfair fights. With that, the problem is solved…
In the current matchmaking solution - players make a line-up where it is assumed that the highest BR level will apply to the match. But that is not the case. Here, Gaijin instead chooses some players with vehicles with a higher BR level (+1). I have made an overview of all tanks - and have compared all parameters (caliber, armour, turret speed, ammunition and speed, etc.) and again compared each single BR level with +1 BR level.
Then I have compiled statistics on the outcome and which tanks (BR-Level) have the highest kill ratio. Thus, I KNOW what I am talking about - and at the same time these are not conjectures - or “opinions/guesses”.
What have YOU done to prove the opposite… In other words, in addition to pouring out some opinions that the situation is different. I don’t care about your opinions - and relate solely to facts and my own experiences - and these are supported by factual data.
I’m not the one saying it’s fact though… You’re the one proclaiming that.
You’re also replying to the thread instead of directly to me to negate the instant response you get from actually replying to the post that was made…
You wrote “That’s just your opinion” and I’m responding with some statistical facts to make you understand, that I’m far beyond "guessing and having an “opinion” on this matter. I HAVE done my homework - before I chose to join this thread.
Because it’s based on your experience, not any actual data other than your experiences…
Since you obviously have trouble understanding - or just trying to misunderstand my message, I don’t bother to spend more time explaining that the collected data is not based on my experiences only - but on connected statistics… and since you choose to highlight a sentence out of its context, you must obviously delude yourself that my statistics are not relative to the actual situation in Gaijin matchmaking/battles. I think your comprehension doesn’t go that far and thought we should just stop this discussion.
Since you have basically expressed that you are only positive - and find EVERYTHING in WT perfect - you cannot be expected to be able - to contribute constructive solutions to anything. After all, any solution proposed will be received by you as a “negative” for attempts to undermine your scurrilous approach to developing a game. The players who criticize and propose solutions should be perceived by Gaijin as being postive - whereas the players who do not criticize simply choose to leave the game in silence. Then you can sit alone with the Gaijin developers and be happy that the game is not changed - and that the game is primarily developed - without dialogue and suggestions from the players. Then you can continue with your positive approach to a future without many players. Enjoy.
Your subtle attacks aren’t unnoticed, and whilst I have a differing view from yours, there’s no reason to make out I’m having trouble understanding things because I called out a single inaccuracy in your statements…
I’m not the one touting anecdotal situations as fact, nor am I the one making the suggestion for what you call ‘unfair’ which is also a perception based thing.
That’s generally the issue with you, and anyone else I engage with on this forum… Whilst I don’t echo your problems, I’m not the one touting the solutions or the cry for despair that everyone seems fixated on doing.
Since you obviously have trouble in understanding the word anecdotal, and how your opinion doesn’t mean fact, I urge you to go do your research.
