We are so very different thinking that I feel that I’m wasting my time here. Have a nice day ! For the time used on waiting for a squad-battle, I can make 5-10 AB battles. So … what do you THINK the players prefer ? Well… don’t spend any more time on this … I will take my idea to Wot !
They 1,000% use people’s personal “ELO” (or whatever internal variant of the same concept) to matchmake the games, on top of just BR.
IMO the times when the game wildly swings around is usually because one of the people who had a 70% win rate that the matchmaker was relying on to get 12 kills and balance out the match, just happened to unluckily get sniped by a sturmpanzer or something and left. Or one of the bigwigs started actively hunting the bigwig on the other team. Or one of them just decided this was the game they were going to not try and instead decided to goof around with long range sturmtiger artillery, or whatever.
I WISH it was a one to one differential with the matchmaking. In my case it’s usually something like…
Games 1-2-3-4-5-6 Get uptiered and cake walked all games, enemy team barely loses any tickets.
Game 7 - Cake walk the other team, and hope this has turned around.
Game 8-9-10 Get cake walked by the other team.
It’s not even ‘usually’ a vehicle or BR mis-match, mostly I would say it’s a player grade/skill mis-match.
But if you look at those ‘numbers’ it’d also factor in your warming up and playing for a while to get into a rythym…
That’s also a player issue when they think they can just fire up the game and instantly be good and lucky.
Squading makes all the difference, which is currently bugged right now, so who’d have thought that literally no-one would notice that…
I hear ya. I’m a reasonably average player, and there have been a few times when those numbers are reversed, but only a few. If you play enough (and pay attention to the kill feed and the map), you learn pretty quickly how a game is going to go, usually within 2.5 minutes. That “guesstimation” is usually more accurate than it isn’t. :(
No, you don’t know how it will run.
With your settings, mind that you have the join in progress matches turned on by default, and if you don’t run an SSD already, you should really get one.
You can actually be joining almost 5 minutes later than anyone else, leading you to an issue from your end.
And the other side of it too, is play to survive and last longer, as you’ll see more turnarounds and comebacks if you do.
If I make a 100% clean BR 7.0 line-up - I simply expect to fight against BR 7.0 (+/- BR 0,3)… and I can wait for a fair and equal ballanced battle. If Gaijin makes a system, where we can join different BR levels, then it’s the players who decide on what BR level they want to fight. The solution is not joining a squad (it’ takes too much time) and I’m here for the fun… and not to manage, invite and setup a squad, then Gaijin should make those CLEAN BR battles and with a queue number, for how many is waiting. This way we will avoid the downtired enemies +1/-1 and +/- 0,7 BR battles, which favour some of the players with a lot of easy kills… and on YOUR expence.
It’s only +/-1.0, maybe +1.3 if you’re in Air AB…
The ‘.7’ want is a suggestion that’s been made, and hasn’t even been accepted so you are jumping the gun.
The way people ‘want’ things and ‘demand’ things, ignoring the facts, is just embarrasing…
The fact is that you CAN squad, but you choose not to because you don’t think you’ve got time to assemble a squad, which is your choice…
And your choice to not do any effort to actually coordinate is your own issue, which leads to you having trouble with teams…
Which reflects in this situation, where you find the team doesn’t work out, and is abysmally non-functional.
I’m kind of surprised there are people who complain in the arcade. Huh, interesting knowing everything has the turn rate of a biplane and is twice or 3 times as fast. Than there irl counterpart.
The complaints are simply focused on the fact, that we join a battle based on the highest BR number in our line-up … and that we have to fight against BR +1 numbers of enemies. WHY making a system based on BR level - if Gaijin secondly are just adding some players with a higher BR numbers ?
The solution is simply by making a system with advertised BR levels - from where the players can subscribe with the highest number of BR level in their line-up. Once the battle starts, ONLY the highest number of BR … according to the advertised number of BR in players line-up can participate. Problem solved.
You play a gamemode that lets you turn like a bi-plane. Safe to say I used to as well cause who hasn’t however I don’t anymore and when I do it’s free money which is me purposely putting vehicles that are not meant for a Higher BR at that higher Br on purpose. It’s a you issue if you get shot down. Now if I brought that said vehicle to RB I’m probably gonna get torn to shreds unless it’s GRB but then those in GRB who fly air are mostly inexperienced. Which is fair enough since there mainly ground-focused.
Another thing is called BR decompression. Which atm it’s very compressed. You are also using Google translate cause subscribe makes little to no sense on what you are trying to explain.
Checked every single battle and in 94% there was a player - favoured by Gaijin … with BR +1. I just ended a battle (in my line-up I had BR 7.0 only) … BUT I had to fight against BR 8.0, which in fact means tanks with much better armour, better gun, better ammo etc. … These advantages gives them the opportunity to make a lot of easy kills … on my expence. I joined for a BR 7.0 battle - which is the reason for me, to make a line-up with max 7.0. and this “mach fixing” thing, makes both unequal and unfair battels.
Oh… so you don’t understand what subscribing is ? Well let me try to explain why I’m using “subscribing” in my explanation (and no, I’m not using Google translate)… My solution is, when you starts WT , you start “subscribing” for what BR you want to participate in - according to your line-ups (example BR 4.7). When the battle starts, there can and will be max of BR 4.7 tanks in that battle … but if some players have added a lower BR number to their line-up’s, then they can participate as well. This way, we get fair and equal battle without downtired enemies.
Facepalming. English is clearly your second language, the words you are looking for are “to make them optional” to participate in.
Big problem with your logic, by going by how you’d want the game to run, you are going to be waiting several hours in queue times. Since almost no one in their dumb mind has a lineup only to a specific BR bracket.
From what I get from your logic is that if you are only flying 3.3 you want to fight only 3.3. Aka->have fun waiting. Since almost anyone who does a lineup has a 2.3->3.7 aircraft in their lineup.
Cause in the arcade there spawning in every single aircraft they can put into a slot.
What is your problem by understanding the word “subscription” ? Is it a problem for you that english is not my first language ?.. Sometimes we have to wait for days before a disrespectful moron like you shows up. I’m trying to explain a solution … but for primitive persons, this can be hard to understand. F.O.
Your want to have this ‘subscription’ AKA ‘agreement to play a match’ is just not even thought out and when peopel are challenging you upon this idea you can’t/don’t want to see the problem that we see with it…
You’ll have people choosing which matches they’ll play, lengthening and making people unable to play certain BRs because no-one will queue up with the BR they are pushed towards…
It’s silly to even think that people won’t just play BRs that favor them, and only those.
Precisely.
As we are getting down on this primitive level of arguments, I remember something I once read “Don’t argue with idiots, they will drag you down into their level - and beat you with experience” … Have great day in your box.
I feel you’re projecting to be real… Either that, or you’re constantly like this considering my interactions with you in chat, and your reluctance to take any explanation from there…
Ah, ships, when you, your team, has one ww1 battleship, and the enemy team has a dozen, and that’s from ww2, and you only have cruisers, oh the balance on the ships
