Uneven matckmaking

I’m sorry but you’re gaining the data from your matches, and that means it is anecdotal.

Please stop your “anecdotal” nonsens… Data from battles are nothing but facts. Maybe you don’t like FACTS and statistics… but we base our experiences on facts - and not on trivial phrases.

This is actually why I often prefer Sim, the BR balance is completely different.

Same, if it’s a full uptier I just exit, jump to another tree and rinse and repeat.

No, because anecdotal is from your personal experiences, so it’s ONLY those which you check, hence why your data isn’t ‘complete’ nor ‘encompasing’.

It’s not a ‘trivial phrase’ it’s all about how you’re getting that data, and that data is only being accumulated because you think it was wrong because of your experience…

And who’s to say you aren’t checking those matches where you don’t think it happened, and merely only checking those which favor your problem…

That’s the issue with this.

Nope - the real issue is, that when I start on BR 7.0, I have to fight against BR 8.0 - who get a lot of advantages making some easy kills. I’m all in for a fair fight on equal terms. A fair fight - with no-one getting special advantages like 105 mm. cannon against 75/88 mm. cannons and with much better ammunition etc. Is this so hard to understand ?

When the battle starts, it actually says on what BR level I’m planning to fight ? In this example BR 7.0
Battle Rating 7.0 WT Start

In this example … as in all other previous situations, I have to fight against BR 8.0 vehicles - and then I decide to leave the battle and have to pay penalties. So if I do not accept unfair battles, then I’m getting punished - while the “Favoured by Gaijin” enemies on BR 8.0 are getting some easy kills on my expenses… Then I have better things to do … there are other games out there … and WT is getting more and more NON-interesting to play.

Most of my friends who joined me here on WT - have all left again - and for the same reason … and are now playing WOT… I decided to hang on here … but not for being screwed by the downtired / Gaijin matchfixing policies. Therefore we need the matchmaking to be changed.

I’m aware that you are a 100% positive Gaijin supporter… and therefore not open for any changes … but if you read a little history… you will se a lot of examples of persons blindfolded following what ever society they are living in… and who are not changing anything withing any systems. Just think back to the WW-2 … and you know what I’m thinking about.

You keep doing this, is your data, not just you accumulating the data from YOUR matches?

Please stop yourselves repeating the same nonsense. As Gaijin are not interested in providing any data for how many battles we have to fight against downtired / BR 8.0 enemies - we are of course measuring data based on our matches … Do you have any data based on all players statistics in these “matchfixing” battles, where they have to fight against downtired enemies ? … Guess NOT. READ anecdotal “(of an account) not necessarily true or reliable, because based on personal accounts rather than facts or research.”… BUT as no data is available - this doesn’t mean, that my data i wrong… read the “not necessarily”. When no data is available but the players data - then this is the closeted we get to reliable facts.

A story from the real life "One investigator believed that there was a serial killer in an area - but since they had no facts (and thus no data) and that the investigator’s data was “anecdotal” and thus conjecture. Now it turns out afterwards that the investigator was right in his assumptions - because he could see a pattern in a behaviour and so can Gaijin’s players… see a pattern in a behaviour…

In comparison, they had no facts - because there was no data… The way to draw conclusions from - whether it is something you KNOW - or whether it is something you BELIEVE… one always goes by the term “PREDOMINANTLY LIKELY”… and works from this in relation to finding the truth.

The truth is found from the data you have available. and since neither you nor Gaijin provide any kind of data i.f.t. - we must work with the data we have available - partly by collecting these ourselves… and by sharing data with other users.

What are you providing for this thread ? … NOTHING - except to criticize and to try to spread doubt - and at the same time you are not able to provide any kind of data yourself. This does not contribute to anything constructive… And frankly, your rhetoric is incredibly reminiscent of dishonest political nonsense.

So you admit that it’s anecdotal, and that it’s prone to you just not counting that one because it didn’t fit, so thus vulnerable to manipulation…

Thank you for your pages of avoidance on that point I was making all along…

So you admit that your full of nonsense ?.. wonderful that you finally realize that your “Anecdotal” BS is all a Gaijin fanatic blunder. ? … Maybe it was the thought of the pre-ww2 that made your start thinking ! …

You’ve not answered the question directly enough for you to be going at me in the way you are to be honest…

If you can’t admit that anecdotal evidence is what you’ve got in the first place, then accept that not every match is going to be under as much scrutiny because it’s not matching your want, then you’re just proving that you’re in denial and won’t accept anything contrary to your wants…

Nothing to do with it because the accumulation of the data doesn’t relate to anything about that…

You cannot be more wrong on this. I’m trying to make players stay and play WT … before they all leave for playing another game.

You’re still ignoring my point as you have for the entire time I’ve put it out…

Anecdotal… not necessarily true or reliable, because based on personal accounts rather than facts or research…

The fact that you can’t admit that you’re basing this solely on your accumulated matches, makes it anecdotal.

Until you admit that, anything you put out is deflection.

You are reading the bible like the devil and the same goes for my postings … and honestly, I find your one-sided approach to solution-oriented proposals is, in my view, directly harmful to any game… or, for that matter, society.
Please stop replying to my postings … you are in a self-swing rhetoric’s are not worth listening to.

You can’t even admit that I’m right, that all your data IS anecdotal, and it IS prone to being selective.

What has ANY of your last comment got to do with the point that’s been made a few times now?

Is it just because I’m not aligning with what you want to hear?

You are the epitome of a quarrelsome who waffles around in the same phrase over and over again - but with no numbers or statistics for ANYTHING. At least WE … the players of WT have made statistics of our battles… but YOU … YOU have no numbers but the same phrase over and over again. Come up with some numbers which shows some statistics / numbers / facts. …However, get on with your life. You are henceforth on ignore

true… all my domination games are just either all blue or all red

Partly true. Your experiences + perception. But those can be different from mine. I don’t want to offend you just something to think about. I respect your experience and perception. I hope you do it too.

You are in fact proposing a 0BR spread. Devs said in the past that this would make matchmaking much more complex and considerably increase delays…as you have to wait for an adequate number of players at the specific BR, game mode…and nations if playing RB.
An additional effect of this approach is that players would not only align their 7.0, but also many would also use the best vehicles/nation combo for that BR. This would lead to more boring games in arcade, and make matchmaking very hard for “lesser” nations in RB…IMHO.
THAT SAID…i do think that a 0.7BR spread could be tested…
