Guys…if you look hard enough there are ALWAYS some odd games where we are at a disavantage…but if you look even harder you can find some where you had the advantage…hell…try some where your team smashed the opp…
I had my share of enemies i cant kill, i recall the “jumbo season” where everygame there was a few jumbos and i could not kill them with my downtiered vehicles…
BUT…in most my matches and the vast majority of my deaths i have to admit i was killed by something i could fight back…
And BTW…those few instances when i can kill something 1BR above y vehicle are particularly satisfying… :)
AT SOME BRs i notice the uphill battle a bit…but it is far form being the “huge” issue some make it to be…every match there are lots of targets i can engage…just have to avoid those i cant…when they do show up…
If you’re ok with providing it, I would like to know more about what you track, how, and what you infer from it. I’m always data-hungry in this game to get a better picture of my performance, and the data on offer in game is always way too little, so you piqued my curiosity.
I spend some time looking into my matches the last 3 days. Loss streaks are my main problem. And I always get many new players in my team while the enemy team gets those players with 30000+ battles. The results for the battle is in within 5min. It gets really frustrating. I even don’t get a chance to spawn a 2nd tank because I’m still in my first tank while half the team has spawned already 3-4 tanks in 5min and the enemy is already spawncamping which is legit if the team fails so hard.
Those players really need more help by Gaijin and I hope they are willing to learn.
When I notice that happening, I usually change BR. Sometimes for whatever reason you are bound to get concentrations of players of some demographic or other. BR hopping is a great workaround.
When you throw encouragement out to your team, and call on them to play ‘better’ often you find that is where they learn. Commonly I find players who are literally still new after hitting level 40, and when squading they can’t believe the way I play.
You’re right. Maybe the problem is that when I get into a battle with other players I only see their level of skill in this moment and the chance to see them again is rare.
And even I now finally at level 100 got much to learn and make mistakes. The “uneven matchmaking” is more a feeling and perception for me. And hit its really hard after 3 days. I don’t want the unlimited power over other players or always win. It just feels kinda strange to loose always the same way to the same mistakes many players make.
I hope I can adapt again and get over it.
I tried … BR change, Nation change … BR + Nation … After 3 losses I switch. But it is the same, maybe one win and then it hits hard again. Even by chance I should get more wins and this feels kinda I’m forced into this situation. This is where I start to activate my conspiracy braincells ^^
While I suspect there is an EOM of some kind at play in WT, remember that your ability to actually identify patterns yourself that are not just static is extremely unreliable. There are ways to analyse and verify some things here and there, people have done so over the years (most famous example being the avg position in the team value), but it’s ultimately a conjectural exercise.
Keep a cool head and stay calm while you play. It will help a lot.
Ok, You are contradicting statistical data with an anecdote. If you like to play in uptiers then go for it. In 10 matches I started yesterday 6 were full uptiers, a quickly bounced out of the match and all 6 of those were losses. I have no desire to circle jerk in a char25 against T-55 AMDs and others. This game is played for fun, we are just showing data that demonstrates in many ways why, for most, it’s unfun
I’ll apologize in advance. I have head issues that make it hard to read lines of anything anymore, that said. I don’t know about the mario pipework of br’s ect. What I do know is team stacking has existed in multiplayer gaming for a hard minute, and these guys are no different.
If the battles was announced as (example) MAX BR 7.0, then the players could align their line-up accordingly … and we would all get a fair-fight. If some players have the need for downtired opponents, they can just join BR 7.0 battle with a lower level of BR vehicles … and problem solved.
Yet another day on WT with BR +1 enemies in every battle. I have decided to leave each and every battle with downtired BR+1 enemies… Why should I give some favoured by Gaijin players all advantages for making some easy kills - on my expenses… no way. Well … there are other games to play - and if Gaijin are doing their best, to make their players leave the game… then… that’s what they are doing the best !
