type 10 in game as of now feels like a downgrade of the type 90. when will we get armor in the front that can withstand type 10 apfsds, CVT transmission, and increase turret rotation speed.

not sure if you have unlocked it yet or not but it is a major disappointment. It flies off the smallest pothole like a light tank but is simultaneously extremely slow, the tank also oversteers and loses all its acceleration because it doesnt have regenerative steering. Even though the front of the turret should be resistant to its own round, it can be penned there with dm33. It has horrible turret traverse and because of the turret armor issue, the autoloader sets off extremely easily from frontal shots and sidescrapes

also with the terrible map designs that force tanks into head on close quarter engagements for the most part, the lackluster speed means you hardly get as many kills as other top tier tanks. Also a vehicle this weak should not have its fuel tank exploding all the time that is unfair given the lack of protection
I didn’t appreciate the Type 10 tank before, but after using the T-84, I finally realized how good it is.🥲 With an addition of aps and rs6, it will surely secure its place at 12.0.
Is rs6 the improved armor package, i am currently working towards the oplot but ye i hear the armor is gimped too

that is something that pmo about the type 10,l for most tanks hitting the top edge of the tank bounces apfsds, but you can tear right through the roof and have an easy instakill. Also unlike every other tank, for some reason shooting right next to the barrel leads to a shot that tears all the way through and sets off the autoloader
Because unlike every other tank in the game, they gave the Type 10 a hollow 30mm trunnion. They also don’t see any issue with this as they unironically think that 3 decades after the deployment of the Rh120 no materials science was progressed and the only way Japan would ever be able to make a 120mm lighter than the Rh120 was to make the trunnion hollow.
They think that a hollow 30mm trunnion withstanding multiple tons of recoil impulse is more probable than Japan making a 120mm gun better than Rheinmetall 120mm 30 years later.

All the material science apparently went into making the hollow trunnion somehoe hold 2+ tons worth of cannon
Also worth noting the mantlet was one of the specified areas that were to resist [unknown, likely Type IV] APFSDS fired from 200m with reduced charges to simulate [unknown, likely 250m] range alongside the turret cheeks and UFP

as if the turret cheeks not stopping dm33 and sometimes even dm23 wasnt bad enough (it could stop type 10 rounds)
