Israel has many T-72s that aren’t just copy-and-paste clones; there are probably at least four variants.
If you include the T-55 Trophy, the Tiran, and their variants, this alone could form a long family tree.
For Israel, you could simply add Elbit’s T-72 Aslan 2024 to that tree, and for Turkey, adding the Aslan operated domestically by Azerbaijan (which is probably slightly different?) would help differentiate the lineup and provide a good reason to include it.
excellent, do it then will you? because no one does it and your ‘‘copy paste’’ complaints are just working on azerbaijan right now, im claiming that turkish modernized things are not copy paste and youre literally typing ‘’ no its copy paste’’ for an hour straight
It seems we do agree after all.
It seems you and I are on the same page after all.
I know that even similar tanks have their own unique characteristics.
Israel is truly a treasure trove of such tanks, and it always excites me.
It doesn’t feel good when people say those tanks are just “copies.”
:(
I gave that suggestion to the people who were working on the Turkish TT project and this what they have to say on the matter
To put it another way. With the exception of a few vehicles such as the BDRM-2 with the UTMAS ATGM’s, they rejected it for the simple fact that the vast majority of Azerbaijan’s vehicles are of Soviet origin and even if you exclude Soviet vehicles they operate as much if not more vehicles of either Israeli or South African Origin than of Turkish origin. Examples such as the Sandcat, Iron Dome and Matador MRAPS as examples.
(Note: This is a MLU of the Aslan, which was first in service in 2013, which again was done by Elbit)
Information on the upgrade packages on the Azeri vehicles are spotty at best and the info that we do have indicates that Israeli firms plays as much of a role in modernizing Azerbaijan’s vehicles as Turkish firms so there is as much of an justification to add Azeri vehicles into the Israeli TT as to the Turkish TT, in some cases even the UK TT via South Africa. Even if suggested domestic Azeri vehicles such as the ZKDM they too rejected it since Turkiye has nothing to do with it. Again with most of the Azeri modified vehicles such as the modified BTR-70 with a 30mm turret which was a derivative of a South-African design they were rejected too.
There’s also legitimate concerns that even if you make a suitable Azeri Subtree with little to no Copy n Paste, Gaijin will just make it a “Oops all copy n paste slop” subtree any ways since it makes more sense to do that for business reasons. Producing new and unique models takes time and money. I don’t like that’s a fact but unfortunately that it’s just the case and Gaijin is too stubborn to change their course paired with their short sightedness/terrible long term planning.
Pakistan
It’s going to the Chinese TT as a subtree due to China being very closely tied to Pakistan
Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan
Same problems with the Azeri subtree just replace South Africa with Serbia and/or China depending on which nation you are talking about
Qatar
Probably the best one out of the ones you listed though it does run to two issues. Firstly, Turkiye only really play a role in Qatari weapons procurement more recently which gets to the Second Issue is that every thing else Qatar operated with very few exceptions is all copy n paste which can be a problem if it used as an excuse to not add unique domestic Turkish vehicles in favour of Copy n Paste slop which is a massive problem.
Also you failed to mention Kazakhstan, the best candidate for a Subtree of the Turkish TT since unlike the other’s they do play a massive role in the Kazakh Army including modernizing their Soviet made equipment and procuring Turkish Made vehicles, among others. It’s not perfect but it’s the best that you can get.
all he says is copy paste while there are many differences, many cooperating and many experiences together, there are so many things that could be called ‘‘copy paste’’ and aslan isnt one of them, even the name is turkish and azerbaijani
Yeah israel and sweden are extremely relevant ur right(!)
we turkish players want the tree also its nothing near copypaste, you guys are all talking about copypaste but when it comes to real irrelevant trees you are silent like a kitten, we want azerbaijan not because its extremely revelant because it would add some good east block content for turkish tree, if you want to see copypaste and you will cry about it like this you can check all of european and israeli trees which are full of copypasting
First and foremost I highly suggest you to check Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree and Helicopter Tech Tree suggestion posts. We are also working on Aviation Tech Tree suggestion which is pretty much completed but requires few adjustments.
Only other countries that can work are Azerbaijan in some extent and Kazakhstan, rest does not have any meaningful connection with Turkey or Turkish Army Industry. Other than your list there are few other nation which could provide few vehicles such as Indonesia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates and Morocco.
So let me briefly summarise how we look into how Sub-Branch implemented within Turkish Tech, especially Ground Forces. We do have a Sub-Branch suggestion within main post:
it mostly consists of Kazakhstan with a single Azerbaijani vehicle addition. Sure current way of implementation of Gaijin provides a lot more flexibility, we can add vehicles such as T-72 Aslan and Aslan (2024) or BTR-80. Thing is Tree would not benefit from them really, we try to stick with the vehicles connected with Turkey and Turkish Industry. For the aviation side however, we are planning to be more flexible to include stuff like JF-17 and such.
May above Sub-Tree suggestion change your mind on that matter mate.
Sure, their performance is similar, but these guys are equipped with Israeli shells (M711), Israeli electronics (TITAS), and Israeli armor (Shygys), right?
The way they’ve evolved and their lifestyle fit perfectly into the tech tree.
This lineup would be ideal for a country like Israel, which is modernizing both its Eastern and Western military equipment.
youre just an idiot which came to randomly insult you know, you have zero proof, zero sources, youre just saying its bs and spamming ‘‘copy paste’’ your nickname is urmom_xD lets be real youre just a turkophobic random roach that cries over a suggestion
proving your point with what exactly? there are 3 templates which are better than israel, sweden and japan trees, you are proving our point that youre a turkophobic 12 year old kid
