There are a few toxic things I personally hate it more than chat, like players who continue to machine gun teammates driving out of spawn point, or repeatedly pressing the attention to the map button on teammates to distract them because they are bored, or shoot main cannon at teammates during mid game just to annoy them for god knows what reason. The chat just a place for shitheads to type racist stuff like Bing chilling comments, n words or calling their teammates idiot then 1 out of 50 comments you find someone calling Maus heading to B. There was a time where the chat was disabled for like one month I felt like hadn’t been missing anything.

This is a problem now…Players getting on here to have fun and receiving “STFU”,…yes you can report them, no doubt… but I would like to see what the “community thinks about this” This is a common event on especially Fri and Sat nights, when a lot of people play.
Look, Im “Old Guard”, this Forum and Battle Chat used to be nothing like this…why are you Moderators and Developers always denying criticisms of the game in general?
It is what it is. Is it the Call of Duty, shooter game, mobile phone crowd WT has catered to in the last year and a half to make a buck?
It is what it is, you ask anyone who has played since, 2012, 2013, 2013…why should you have to disable your chat…My point is this Battle Chat and Forum are becoming rife with sarcastic Trolls…WT isnt my life, I get on here occasionally to relax and have fun…this isnt a way of life for me.

Im going to be straight honest here, EVERY TIME anyone has any criticism of this game, whether it be mechanics, suggestions,…etc, one of you “Gaijin Volunteers” gets on here and denies any problem with the game or makes this whole thing seem to be Butterflies and Zebras. That is the pattern 95% of the time,…and soon this topic will be locked. Guaranteed.
I don’t recall me denying it anywhere in my post. It’s a problem in every online game not just this one.
I’m not going to delve into why the chat was disabled, i think that’s pretty obvious at the time and if this thread goes down that topic i’ll be closing it.
If you think disabling the chat at that moment was wrong, then i don’t understand the point you’re trying to prove.

I disabled my battle chat so I do not have to see it most of the time, what are you talking about? (Uh…The battle chat in game in the bottom left corner), the one people who play see. Im not trying to prove any point, I am discussing the growing problem of Trolls in Warthunder. And there we are, the warning from the Moderator…its very predictable. Maybe I shouldnt talk about how all the Mig 23s were all screwed up in the last six months, because we ALL KNOW THEY WERENT LOL.
Okay, so let me get something straight… You don’t like when people joke around and have fun in the chat when you’re climbing for a few minutes, doing nothing basically, before you can actually start a battle? And no, I don’t mean this to be rude just in case you think this is.

No, I am talking about Trolls, but then again, dont you notice this is a video game centered on military combat? So what I am wondering is why it is starting to look like Instagram, Facebook…etc, is WT becoming some social platform where people get in battle and talk about, “My dog is playing in the dirt spot around his converted shipping container I picked up”, …That is what Im talking about, because the whole Chat has changed in the past few years…just like the game has.
It’s a video game, it really isn’t that deep…

Also told you only time I open chat is begining of the game so I can laugh my ass off.
You should disable chat in game it will help you trust me. Stop worrying about what some radnom has to say, keep it positive and good luck.

That is what I do, I disable my battle chat, like I never used to have to…but tonight I turned it on…and so I posted this topic after about three or four battles with the “moronic chat” on…the greatest comment and advice yet
For almost 11 years I have greeted my teammates with “gl team!!” . . most times, no replies at all, a small portion of the time I do get the “trollish” replies. haters and ne’er-do-wells and also, good/decent replies and even a small bit of “team spirit” at times. Does it do any good the majority of the time? . . . prolly not, but I do it anyway . . on the off chance my team gets motivated a little and does well or at least a little better. Games are supposed to be fun. I try not to let the words/actions of others take that away from me . . . that’s just me tho . .
