im gonna keep it short and clear, yes top tier sim (talking about 14.0/14.3 mainly) is awful to play at the moment.
i understand that the grind can be hard and not funny, that there is an event so you need to make scores, that everyone have his way of playing blablabla… however going to sim to make your score and/or grinding for a jets while doing pvp (which i think the game is about) and being called a sl*ve of bvvd because you killed someone that was doing airfield bombing and ejecting after dropping his bombs is something that is happening way to much those days imo.
yes, bombing is a thing in sim, i know, but people literally eject the moment you have a lock on them without getting a penality (because its sim, you spawn with SL) is something not very funny.
so, id like to gaijin to take a look at sim for a bit, not nerfing base/airfield bombing, because thats a part of sim matches, but doing something about people ejecting because they dont want to do “pvp” in a 12v12 match.
Not the exact same topic but close enough and there are discussions about things like that in general throughout the thread.
If someone is trying to enforce PvE please report them using the in-game complaint system as that is against the rules. Same goes for those that insult you in chat, report them and they will be dealt with.
Let me just confirm something.
In previous discussions regarding PvE, I remember a GM saying, quite some time ago,
“While it is clearly a violation of the rules for teams to collude and manipulate the match, simply saying PvE in chat makes the intent unclear in the context, making it difficult to realistically punish.”
At least from what I’ve seen, this is the first time a GM has explicitly stated that calling for collusion in chat is itself a valid reason to file a complaint.
This is very good news for me, but my English is poor, so I’ll double-check before getting too excited.
“The act of forcing PvE in chat itself may be punishable.”
Is this understanding correct?
Discourage Negative Behavior . Do not encourage others to stop playing the Game(s), refrain from purchasing content from the Gaijin.Net Store, or avoid participating in in-game activities.
If players in the chat are trying to make others not perform specific in game activities then it is against the rules. Especially if they are being offensive/insulting those that do not follow their requests.
Yeah, i played a match tonight where my teammate was communicating friendly positions and missile launches to the enemy and enemy doing the same to the guy on my team because some people didnt fall into them setting up a PVE match for grinding the event points. makes me wonder why we even need to be able to chat with the enemy side in a sim match.
