I don’t really give people extra credit for playing something for a long time. Random players on this game on average just have really silly takes regardless of play time. (Most people plateau in skill really early)
Hmm…I thought the topic was RADAR, but this is a typical forum chat it seems, going off topic and getting into skill issues, player performance, etc. I have F16C, F15C, and some other BR13s. I have 12 years of experience in this game on and off since Beta, I have the Ace tag. Do you not think I can see a pattern that develops? There is nothing at all wrong with my skill or performance, so get on the topic and dont be one of these dudes that you see in Battle Chat all the time talking about k/d ratios and skill issues and the like. You have a very negative attitude really, you never stay on the topic at hand.
Dude to be honest Ive seen replies you make in the community you just seem to like sprinkling sarcasm and drama around. I appreciate your reply because it has made my mind up about disabling the battle chat for awhile because, frankly its getting to be very childish.

Also, it does not matter if it was against bad players. That was a display of the ER’s range advantage. Even if the I lose lock of a defending player, I can simply switch like what I did in that clip.
Please watch the clip closely. I managed to fire, get a kill, then defend against 3 fox 3s. I had the “clearance” as long as I abuse the ER’s range advantage, the enemy did not and had to wait until they were within firing range.
All you’re showing is that the enemies failed to capitalize upon your vulnerability in that particular anecdote. Your clip does nothing to change the fact that you are at a disadvantage in a BVR fight vs Fox 3s when you use Fox 1s.

How weak do you think other people are thinking it is? I don’t often see people trying to say R27ER = AIM7M, but rather that in MOST SITUATIONS, the R27ER cant do anything to an AMRAAM carrier and neither can a sparrow

I will say in a very simple way, the r27er is an excellent missile, its performance is better than any fox 3 in game, perhaps the whole game, this is the performance of the missile itself.
The problem is with a plane with r27ers and its radar only handling “one shot” at a time, against a plane that has a radar that can fire multiple missiles that are pretty good and not have to sit there and hold a lock, despite a good gimble on the r27ers plane. Couple that with the fact his mates have unleased a hailstorm of their own fox 3s. That is a major disadvantage. However, I can think of a lot worse missiles I could have in an uptier than a r27er. As far as the performance of the missile itself, is there any better missile in game? This is performance I am speaking of, not usage. Up until fox 3s arrived my personal distance records were with the r27er. Now my own personal distance records belong to the Fakour, and I will chalk that up to inexperienced players who cannot dodge a 18g pull missile for the most part. LOL I will sometimes carry r27ers instead of r73s, to go along with the r77s, they are just that good, in that situation perhaps, in a close encounter with HMD mode enabled.

I still doesn’t think your point have that much value in this thread. Considering the top tier russian jet are still pretty mid, sure the missile are good but in this fox3 meta those don’t have as much value as they used to and now with everyone being forced to learn how to notch and deck hugging probably to avoid getting hit by a AIM120. Yeah ER effectiveness really diminish , that doesn’t mean it is bad. Just everyone being force to not suck in ARB and it doesn’t help that the jet carrying those thing have one of the worst FM
