Top Tier Russian Fighters are worse than nearly all of their competition

Good point, forgot that. But only partly true, it is not mid 2000s. The C was from '84, but the F16C block 50 rolled out of the factory this week 33 years ago on the 31st of October 1991 (F-16.net - The ultimate F-16, F-35 and F-22 reference). That is still 14 years before the MiG-29 SMP.

On the F15C, I know less about it. But the F15 is older then the F16. The first aircraft that got the MSIP II upgrade (what Gaijin calls the F15C) was the 84-001 in 1985. They sure did update the helmet, I’m not sure Gaijin gave us the proper F15C radar. Not sure what radar it got in game, but most likely the AN/APG-63(V)1 which is from the '90s. But as said, don’t really know about them in game.

Yeah they should’ve added the MiG-29M (1980s) instead, but you’d seethe harder

According to Wikipedia the M is from 2005: Mikoyan MiG-29M - Wikipedia, so I do not see the point.

Our F-16C is from 2006…

The JHMCS program only started in the 2000s and first integrated on F/A-18s in 2003. As it stands the F-16C in game is a 2000s upgrade, only Israeli F-15/16s had HMDs implemented earlier sometime in the '90s.

My dear… don’t be a dumbass, look the tag of the post…
“Air” “air rb”

The entire topic discussed here is around the flight model and radar performance… what do spaa and tank have to do with the subject of the publication?

What’s super about it? The ability to go a little faster then the F4, or its inability to combat most jets?

Why are you mentioning Grb on an Arb post? It has nothing to do with it.

those were just additions for other forms of some major components of the game that showcase how much russians are buffed and other are not :)

And now back to the topic :)

Right the topic where we address how top tier russian fighters have been handicapped more than necessary and require buffs to be both more historically accurate as well as more competitive for their BR. That topic.

Maybe read two posts down so that you can learn about the joke.

Skill issue su27 have at most missile. R77 have 50G overload aim120 only 32G.and best IR (R73 R27ET)
I don’t know what you re complaining about?

Thanks! Why did Gaijin cause all this confusion calling it the MSIP II instead of mid life JHMCS upgrade or something like that?

Missile count doesn’t matter when you have the worst Fox 3’s and bad radars. The R-73 and R-27ET are also not the best IR missiles, no idea where you heard that.

G load isn’t everything. The R-77 is a lot worse than the top missiles in ARB.

The R-27ET is in fact the best IR missile because of its range. Then the rest is personal preference.

Are you dumb or just pretending?

The R-27ET isn’t bad or anything, the range is really good but the flare resistance just isn’t there. It has about half the flare resistance of the Magic 2 or R-73. R-73 and the Magic 2 have their seekers shrink to 0.75 while r27et shrinks to 1.3 or 1.4.

I have F16C F15C SU27SM JAS39 ,I have used them all before ,
Please put away your stupid and hubris

Refer to:
In real life, F-5 had about 12 dps STR, like MiG-21’s, it overperforms by 25% (lol). Put into perspective it is barely worse than a WT MiG-29

F8E overperformance
F8 Crusader, acknowledged for months yet unfixed, ruining 10.0, hilariously overperforms

Older data but proves the point. You can keep saying skill issue, skill issue, but if your plane has so much more specific excess power (compared to real life!) it’s like a MiG-9 against a MiG-15, you’re gaslighting people.

Oh, and R-60 was stealth nerfed to 22G, so most Soviet aircraft that relied on the missile (ie MiG-21SMT/bis) have had their last advantage removed.

That’s not even what hubris means…
