exactly this!
The problem is not with those who only have one vehicle, whether it is squad or premium, the problem is with the respawn system, the game should give you at least 3 spawns in your only vehicle so as not to weaken the team, like the first Israeli tank has
I bring 5 or more vehicles to most missions. On the other hand, I will leave without spawning if I don’t like the map, or the mode, or the BR. (So very frequently I’m at a full uptier!) I’ve grown tired of posting that the BR range for a match should be at least a step smaller, but the “That would be boring” folks argue against it. (Nevermind there’s 0 proof that a more even battle would be any more boring) I just leave if I don’t want an uphill battle.
This game doesn’t need to be this grindy at all, but they (gaijin) likes to keep it grindy, so that more people will pay for premiums and premium time. (Not to mention GEs!)
One of the other players pointed out something, though: “Feeders”. I just saw a match go from victory to defeat because one enemy killed enough players to drop a nuke. If you don’t want people leaving early, maybe we could do without nukes? Why stay in a match if you’re just feeding the winning player’s score? (I don’t even want friendly players getting nukes!)
dude we r talking about the 1DL using just 1 premium…
i support that idea but the second and 3rd spawn shouldnt be premium bonuses
Nor should they just be a given… Backups would be negated entirely, and people would just run one vehicle, which is half the issue.
I wont stop doing this even if I had full 10 vehicles line up…
Maybe a free second Spawn with the third being a Backup?
Wont help, just gonna make even biger problem… I dont think theres a solution to this… Unfortunately we just have to accept this…
‘free’ is about as hilarious to me as ‘unfun’…
hands down, even though premiums at top tier are all medicore tanks and the higher ones are suprior compared to them, so if someones joining with 3 medicore tanks its better than having just 1 medicore tanks. after they re finished the grind they will stop using this 1 premium with 2 backups only , they add the new ones unlocked and as soon there is 1 more tank than the premium he looses 1 back up for it. still better than what we have now
People don’t play for your satisfaction. The mechanic is stupid. People leave for a variety of reasons. For one I leave if I’m put into the same map 4 times in a row. I even leave if it’s a map that I absolutely hate. The fact that they only allow you to ban one map is terrible. Some of us would be happy to wait longer to get into a match if that means I don’t have to play a map I hate. No one should be punished because a map is designed poorly or because you get paired up with a team that is horrible and gets bulldozed.
Maybe gaijin should make lineups actually have vehicles. 😒
That’s your choice to accept the consequences of that decision.
That’s just your opinion and your assumption about how ‘bad’ the team is.
man mainly its about those premium players. i just lost a match where we had 11 Japan Fujis and everyone of them left after 1 death, the oposite team didnt even have 1 player out…
since days i loose games simply beeing in a premium only player team. adjust the match maker to spread those players even on excisting matches please, i just had games where 10 to 12 players having a Fuji.
Imho this is one of the smartest statements in this whole thread - from the perspective of a long term player assuming that the game (or game play) would be broken and needs a “fix”.
-
The problem is from my perspective that players focus on “fixing” a deliberate design choice by gaijin - basically they complain about effects of gaijin’s design choices without acknowledging that the game play set up of any multiple spawn mode within wt is created to benefit gaijin, and not players.
-
If the game or game play would be broken, gaijin would have “fixed” this ages ago - the pure fact that they keep it as it is is either a proof that they have no better ideas (highly unlikely) or that the current setup fulfills their economic goals.
From a holistic pov multiple spawn options in wt create the following:
-
The illusion that multiple spawns would give players flexibility regarding vehicle choices, whilst giving players a second chance to do it better. So in theory creating a lineup up of 5-7 vehicles would allow players to adequately counter various threats within a battle.
-
On top of that the whole concept of gaining spawn points is simply enforcing/supporting reckless game play as aircraft or choppers have in most BRs a significant advantages vs tanks. So rushing into a fight in order to get as soon as possible enough SP to get an aircraft is an explicit goal of players - fully intended by gaijin in order to accelerate player interactions and to force players to research air TTs too.
If you try to see those points as a whole, you might come to these conclusions:
-
Basically gaijin was able to convince players that the line up concept is an extremely smart game concept in order to fight a war of attrition. You simply play as long as necessary until one side runs out of spawn points.
-
Technically seen building up such lineups is actually delaying the research progress as a whole, same as the need to grind aircraft and helicopter Tech Tress in order to use them as power-ups.
-
If you then see that a multi spawn mode has a significantly worse economy than Air RB (one game, one life) all of the points have one goal: Delaying overall progress whilst creating and amplifying the artificial need to buy premium products.
-
Allowing new players to purchase overpriced prem vehicles at BR ranges they can’t handle is dealing with the rather bad economy of wt and the disparity of gaijin’s advertising with shiny top tier stuff whilst the in-game reality (need to grind) looks rather disappointing. This won’t change, as this is fully intended.
In other words:
-
Multiple spawns just benefit gaijin’s needs and just support only experienced players which are able to adopt and invest time and/or money in order to deal with this concept.
-
As long as gaijin is unable or unwilling to change their general approach how their game should be played, nothing will change.
-
So instead of trying to find “fixes” for a thing that is (from gaijin’s perspective) not broken it makes way more sense to think about a solution which would consider the needs of gaijin and players at the same time:
-
Imho it looks not that hard to separate players with one vehicle from players with multiple vehicles by adjusting the MM. So letting the first group fight exclusively other one vehicle players would be a start.
-
Both player groups would benefit: The guys without vehicle options would face players with the same handicap, whilst guys with multiple options would not face the whole enemy team alone after a few minutes.
-
The only (but massive) downside of this: No more easy kills of rookies for vet players. And - longer queue times for those players as the “newer” players with less options are simply outnumbering long term players.
-
Technically seen there are no major downsides for gaijin: New players can still buying their way to top tier and long term players would stop complaining…
The solution is very simple and it already exists in the game, Israeli M-51 (6.0) can give 3 spawns +1 with backup.
This skill comes to compensate for the lack of a line up, because when you start playing as Israel you only have one tank.
Players using newly researched squad vehicles or newly purchased premium vehicles find themselves in the same situation.
This would be a standard feature of the game, when a player has 5 or more vehicle slots but does not have enough vehicles (less than 3 land vehicles) to assemble a line up the game should give 3 minimum spawns to the player, thus reducing the problem of players dying and leaving the game with a single spawn, and the learning curve per game for beginning players would be more attenuated.
we only depend on the snail’s will…
Because this function already exists in the game and would solve some problems with ground rb, the terrible grind, players with a single life and would make the game a little more nooby friendly
