Because in lieu of a major BR decompression they were too close for an unfair uptier, period.
Every subsonic jet suffered from F-104 statpadding gangs
But Gaijin decided to buff only MiG-15 and Sabre family and created another monster.
If they buffed Sabre and MiG as intended, then every other domestic jets need to be buffed at the same goddamn time.
(Compression is bad, but if that happened, still it would be fairer than just cherry-picking Sabre for buff)
Do you really think letting F-86A-5 face Me 262A-1 was a good decision?
In meantime, Historically, Aussie Gloster meteor squadron was kicked their ass badly by MiG-15 during Korean war. There was a big gap between their specs. Meteor was outdated drastically, and moved to CAS role.
But in war thunder, Either Vampire or Meteor shares the same BR with MiG-15 or F-86A-5.

Emphasis on “ed” cause F-104A/C is now among the worst 9.3s despite its speed.
Once people learned the F-104’s flaws, that knowledge made it easy to avoid them in all but say a similarly bad turning aircraft.
Mig-19 however, an aircraft that dogfights almost as well as an F-16A at 9.3…
And in your brain, you think this problem was unique to the TWO BEST JETS AT THEIR OLD BRs, BEFORE they were downtiered?

Tu-4 needs a lower br (same as b29 would be good) becaus now it faces air to air missels
and br 9 jets.

Because, Tu-4 can’t resist against some dedicated interceptor like the Vautour IIN Late
(Me flies 4-engine heavy bomber which has no RWR or chaff to use while I can’t evade with maneuver and hearing : “Just maneuver a bit! R.511 is dogshit, so it is major still issue if you got killed by R.511.” from some random vautour guy)
But giving 7.0BR will be extremely annoying to enemies (Good to me) which need to evade the death star laserbeam from NR-23.
Maybe 7.3BR would be fine if they implement ‘separate BR between GRB and ARB’ in lower BR.

As a Germna main, I would hate to see ME 262s, He 162s, and the Ho 229 going against Korean War jets like the MiG 15 and the F 84F. That is a joke. People can always say things like “But the Me 262 has 30mm and the F-84F only has .50 cal”…But in an uptier the unmanueverable 262 dies to AGMs.

Eeerm… I can’t see any AGM in F-84F[8.3], or reason why Me.262[7.0], He 162[6.0], and Ho 229[7.0] will sees F-84F.

- or Refer to the event version of F-84F which has the ability to carry bullpup AGM.

Yes…that one. I only watched videos for the me 262 and german ww2 jets because I am not there yet. I guess yes I mistook the F-86A as the F-84F while watching one of Kila West’s videos. By the way…is spending 5 months and ending up in 6.0 In GRB and 5.0 in ARB good or bad for a player? (I am a german main).

TO ADD, THERE ARE ALSO 2000 LB BOMBS THAT JUMPSCARE ME WITH ASSUALT FUSE. AND RUSSIAN COLD WAR AA IS IN A BR WHERE YOU CAN FACE IT WITH BF 109S WHICH IS CLEARLY NOT FAIR.
