well last time i tried to use any form of TV guided bomb, instead of dropping the bomb all it did was relock it again and again, checked my controls and tested it again in a test flight without changing anything and it dropped that time, the previous time everything lost lock and missed
Hows this work?
Because there was stationary aa. I could just get closer and score kill same way I did with other 2 tanks if aa wasnt present.
You mean “why does agm62 glide further then anything else at br (including kab500kr)?” And “why did US and Israel have those while others remained with nothing for years?” Thats only bias I see here pal.
As annoying as those jets are (and yes, they are some of the most obnoxious cas jets at that BR range especially for gun only spaa) If youre dropping those bombs from these “insane” ranges with which i think you mean outside of stinger effective range so outside of 5-6 km? That means:
- Bomb takes ages to impact even a static target. Meaning, target might smoke unknowingly, move behind cover or next to another tank/wreck or die to an ally before the bomb gets there
-And more importantly youd risk releasing it with a point lock if you drop even further giving the target ages to move out of the point lock and avoid the lock on. Or youd drop them accidentaly without enough energy to get to the target area even though they are locked on.
Thinking about it the problem would be the very good maneuverability of the yak, so to counter it for standoff releases you need a well hidden stinger-slinger which are still dangerous af, like a wiesel for its ir search with very high angles and basically impossible to spot from far. But with stingers you wont hit a experienced yak pilot that is going for medium range releases to still be able to dodge good gun spaa. So you kind of need both types of spaa to even have a chance of taking a very good pilot down or put pressure on him to not get 4 easy uncontested releases. If you do the same in a a4e you bleed so much speed that stingers will hit you head on after 3 turns.
One has to be skilled to use them
Wheres GBs early jet with fire and forget?
Wheres GB version of 6.3 prop with zunis?
Is it only US and Ruski and the ones who are lucky to have copy paste…who get treated with the good stuff?
Moving the Yak-130 to 10.3 makes literally zero sense balance-wise, especially when you take into account that it has disadvantages even at its current BR. Your argument is “X vehicle has Y, but Z vehicle does not, so X should be a higher BR than Z,” when the same can be said for the Yak-130. There are vehicles with flares at a significantly lower BR, so why should the Yak-130 not be lowered since it has no flares? You are picking and choosing what to base BR off of.
using the weapon select, select the AGM-12B or C bullpup (although the C goes on the same racks as the walleyes), then switch your camera view to the walleye to gain some magnification, although it isn’t the best as the walleye that’s used has the TV seeker to quality at extreme ranges is gonna be iffy, then just guide them in as usual, rinse and repeat till your bullpups are used, then roll in drop your walleyes and RTB, i never really used them like that as i was never too good at the long range bullpuping
Bullpups are very easy, even without the 14x zoom camera
Oh no, a vehicle doesn’t do literally everything perfectly!
And there are aircraft without flares higher than it. But more importantly my earlier point applies here:
Just like thermals, flares are not weapons, and don’t even make killing things easier like a thermal sight does. Countermeasures are situational tools and not even that effective when all IR SAMs except 9.0 chaparral’s MIM have IRCCM.
I guess AAMs do exist, but stinkers like AIM9B are dodged by not flying straight.
CAP is dead. There’s no prey for constant scanning SPAA ofc it’d be worse for planes.
It doesn’t matter what players think, there will be always those soviet main defending their vehicles and claiming it as weak. Those players who would want BMPT back on 10.3 because it’s weak. Yak-130 just another loud vehicle that can make mess on lower BR, we had PTS, but players have to grind there to test new vehicles, so every new vehicle has low BR because development team doesn’t understand the game as players do. Yak-130 has ballistic computers for every weaponry to use, 4 KABs its too much for such BR, great flight capability compensate lack of flaers. 10.0-9.7 and since USSR is too much popular nation, average battle have more Yak players , 10.0BR should be exactly that spot to balance
10G at 950 kph
11G at 850kph

keeps pulling 9G at 680kph ?
The flight model on this thing is insanely good, especially coupled with TV guided bombs, against regular radar AAA and stingers.
I don’t understand how some people keeps comparing it to an A-4E.
Because soviet players want easier gameplay
Every plane overperforms fm-wise in that aspect.
Because they are effectively both sidegrades of each other
One has TV bombs + guided missiles with RWR and flares
The other has 2 more TV bombs, no missiles, flares or rwr for better fm
Show me where exactly I said, in the linked thread above, that AGM-12B is “overpowered”. If so then you’re more than right to mock me of my mistake. Fortunately—I’ve never said that. I’ve stated that AGM-12B is an additional missile abling the A-4E (Early) to carry up to five guided ordinances.
On the instance with the T-55AMD-1 you miss the first AGM-12B, followed by the second that is intercepted by the Drozd hard-kill active protection system.
Afterwards the strike the T-55AMD-1 is engaged by a XM-1 (GM) and destroyed on the spot, reason why they appear with a gunner and loader unconscious.

On the Olifant Mk.2 instance the player was with spawn protection, if you don’t know, with that effect you can’t take damage for up 30-seconds if you haven’t moved up to 10 meters out of your spawn location. (If I’m not wrong)
As you can see, hopefully, the Olifant Mk.2 was with spawn protection during your strike, this is evidenced by the flashing vehicle viewer, the AMX-32 Broken Shield symbol above its name (attachment)—indicating that the target (Olifant Mk.2). According to Napolegnom’s comprehensive list of Unicode characters for the Warthunder ingame font the Broken shield (attachment):
Is described as
A stilized shield roken into three parts
With a in-game function of
Invulnerability Marker

Given that today is the 5th Mark of distinction for tankers, I’ve took the time to play with the T58 and A-4E (Early) and recorded in a compilation for your sake using both AGM-12B and AGM-62A:
And for God’s sake please at least try to develop a counterargument instead of mocking people, at least for me this is another proof that people that don’t have the vehicle tend to have the worst opinions about it.
Because both are strike airplanes, with similar ordinances and at the same battle rating, no one, no one, in their right mind compare the A-4E Skyhawk and Yak-130 based on their flight characteristics, this is by far the advantage the Yak-130 has over other airplanes at its battle rating range, the argument is the weapons, not the platform.
You are really funny guy, so persistently try to prove that A4E stronger than Yak - 130 just to defend Yak from raising BR that it deserves, I said A4E is skill depended jet , you DID agreed but wrote that Yak also skill depended which is pure lie, there is need skill to cotnroll missiles, but there is no need to have skill to drop 4 TV Kabs from out of range most of SPAA, your Yak can easily to dodge any missile and faster gain lost speed. AGM-12 are random, splash is random, you ain’t server who can predict where and what splash targets or eats.
Takes so much skill to press spacebar 5 times
If you cared to read the whole post. In the previous thread I’ve stated that the Yak-130 could have its battle rating increased with some conditions:
Yes, both airplanes require skill, controlling a missile in-game require the primary motor cortex in that case, I’m a terrible close air support player, is safe to say that those clips I’ve made did not exactly provided help to the team a whole lot.
“My Yak” can be destroyed by a Mistral ground-to-air missile, any plane can, evading is a skill, with the this is more convenient in the A-4E Skyhawk as it has countermeasures, if you care watching the compilation I made which there was a moment I evaded a FIM-92 from a Ozelot.
AGM-12B are not random, it rely entirely on the operator’s input. If these missiles are random then I must be controlling the server in my favour to destroy things like Object 279 with some ease. Again provide some counterargument instead of mocking people that don’t agree with you.
