Any Russian BR over 9.0 now : (J22M, Yak-130, Su-39, Su-30Mk2, …)
Every plane overperforms fm-wise in that aspect.
Because they are effectively both sidegrades of each other
One has TV bombs + guided missiles with RWR and flares
The other has 2 more TV bombs, no missiles, flares or rwr for better fm
Show me where exactly I said, in the linked thread above, that AGM-12B is “overpowered”. If so then you’re more than right to mock me of my mistake. Fortunately—I’ve never said that. I’ve stated that AGM-12B is an additional missile abling the A-4E (Early) to carry up to five guided ordinances.
On the instance with the T-55AMD-1 you miss the first AGM-12B, followed by the second that is intercepted by the Drozd hard-kill active protection system.
Afterwards the strike the T-55AMD-1 is engaged by a XM-1 (GM) and destroyed on the spot, reason why they appear with a gunner and loader unconscious.

On the Olifant Mk.2 instance the player was with spawn protection, if you don’t know, with that effect you can’t take damage for up 30-seconds if you haven’t moved up to 10 meters out of your spawn location. (If I’m not wrong)
As you can see, hopefully, the Olifant Mk.2 was with spawn protection during your strike, this is evidenced by the flashing vehicle viewer, the AMX-32 Broken Shield symbol above its name (attachment)—indicating that the target (Olifant Mk.2). According to Napolegnom’s comprehensive list of Unicode characters for the Warthunder ingame font the Broken shield (attachment):
Is described as
A stilized shield roken into three parts
With a in-game function of
Invulnerability Marker

Given that today is the 5th Mark of distinction for tankers, I’ve took the time to play with the T58 and A-4E (Early) and recorded in a compilation for your sake using both AGM-12B and AGM-62A:
And for God’s sake please at least try to develop a counterargument instead of mocking people, at least for me this is another proof that people that don’t have the vehicle tend to have the worst opinions about it.
Because both are strike airplanes, with similar ordinances and at the same battle rating, no one, no one, in their right mind compare the A-4E Skyhawk and Yak-130 based on their flight characteristics, this is by far the advantage the Yak-130 has over other airplanes at its battle rating range, the argument is the weapons, not the platform.
You are really funny guy, so persistently try to prove that A4E stronger than Yak - 130 just to defend Yak from raising BR that it deserves, I said A4E is skill depended jet , you DID agreed but wrote that Yak also skill depended which is pure lie, there is need skill to cotnroll missiles, but there is no need to have skill to drop 4 TV Kabs from out of range most of SPAA, your Yak can easily to dodge any missile and faster gain lost speed. AGM-12 are random, splash is random, you ain’t server who can predict where and what splash targets or eats.
Takes so much skill to press spacebar 5 times
If you cared to read the whole post. In the previous thread I’ve stated that the Yak-130 could have its battle rating increased with some conditions:
Yes, both airplanes require skill, controlling a missile in-game require the primary motor cortex in that case, I’m a terrible close air support player, is safe to say that those clips I’ve made did not exactly provided help to the team a whole lot.
“My Yak” can be destroyed by a Mistral ground-to-air missile, any plane can, evading is a skill, with the this is more convenient in the A-4E Skyhawk as it has countermeasures, if you care watching the compilation I made which there was a moment I evaded a FIM-92 from a Ozelot.
AGM-12B are not random, it rely entirely on the operator’s input. If these missiles are random then I must be controlling the server in my favour to destroy things like Object 279 with some ease. Again provide some counterargument instead of mocking people that don’t agree with you.

Yak130 is not skill depended jet at all, stop pretending it is, your flight characteristics makes any missile weaker. Your gameplay mostly against early AAM which only skilled player can realize in battle, if your awareness terrible, every plane in the game will be skill depended for you. For ground battles you literally have much more efficiency than A4E, you DO NOT stay for 20 seconds vulnerable aiming missile, you drop 4 bombs and fly to recharge them, how else to explain difference is wild. But if you play in Air Battles and lose, then you wrong build your gameplay and its normal for AB, but for RB you are OP
How many times you lost before to learn it… I’m sure a lot, but how you can deny that drop 4 TV kabs is easier than manually contol NORDs
Not many. Lost more times to it when it every german main would spawn it the moment you killed his l/44 leopards, yak130 doesnt even come close to the spam. It the soviet tree had 0 spaa that could counter it at the time
Nords are trash now. Bullpups and kabs as far as ground rb is concerned are guaranteed kills. a4e gets 5 kills and more versatility with them. The yak gets 4
That’s gaslighting levels of saying “Just press “W” playing Soviet Union”. Like the AGM-12B that you stated I consider overpowered, again I ask, tell me where I said the Yak-130 is bad, where I am defending the Yak-130 to not have the battle rating increased and whatever, fortunately I haven’t said those things. At this point I think you have stopped reading entirely and are sticking around for the first two lines and so.
In ground battles, the strike capabilities of both planes are similar, not the same but also not too much different, you can either play safe and use only TV-guided bombs, return safely and repeat the cycle just as the Yak-130 and still score points or use the AGM-12B as well, since you said TV-guided bombs are guaranteed:
On one thing I can agree, four is indeed bigger than two. But I can’t agree on “imbalanced A-4E” part, whatever, it existed for years at lower battle rating, no one bats a eye, then the Yak-130 and suddenly TV-guided bombs are a issue and that’s where the community draws the line and what I wanted to discuss about is this inconsistency on the topic and overreaction of the community, A-4E is cool because the frame is terrible for dogfighting but you’re still destroying ground vehicles, that’s what a strike plane does, a tank won’t create wings out of nowhere, fly and shoot you down.
As @Pangolin_Fan said I can’t disagree is that:
That’s about most vehicles, like the M1A2 SepV3 which also another good example of adaptation required for a new vehicle, you have threads like The new Abrams is too OP, which I can’t tell if it’s satirical or not, but you have gems like:
To justify a—supposedly—overpowered vehicle, if it’s western: That’s ok, it’s reparation, it’s fairness, if it’s eastern: Bias! Bias! Bias! and whatever comes out of the magic tophat of excuses but never knowledge that the problem may be in between the chair and the computer.
That’s why I do appear defending the Yak-130 but I’m trying to support the side that is actively pointing out this inconsistency on treatment on these vehicles based on the overreaction of its implementation. If the Yak-130 is going a higher battle rating based on opinions of players that think it’s way too good for battle rating 9.3, nothing fairer than moving the american A-4E (Early), the german G.91 R/4, the swiss Hunter F.58A (1971), the british Buccaneer S.2, the taiwanese F-100A, the taiwanese F-100F, the italian G.91 Y, the israeli A-4E (Early) and israeli A-4E (Early) Mod to a higher battle rating as well.
In you text around posts your words have one meaning : " Why you cry about Yak if there were always A4E, while YAK doesn’t have FLAERS", you instantly started comparing it to A4E as the second one stronger than Yak, because on 9.7 it has 5(!) TV bombs, you already considered Yak as weaker jet, you came to these type of topics because people say its OP, while you try to say “no, its not”.
Ayit sits on 9.7BR not for popular nation, Gaijin is interested into bringing players to different nations too making some vehicles slightly more capable in battles, but those manor nations will always stay minor, meaning there is not battle where 4x Ayits simultaneously wiping whole team, but since USSR is major, nation number 1 by use starting from rank 6, per battle statistically more Yaks at the same time which can wipe whole team OUT OF INSTA DANGER, you literally drop your 4 TV bombs for 5 seconds on 6 km height and dodge any missile if there is SPAA, cannon SPAA is not threat at all. A4E Early is squadron vehicles, for most of players is not even priority, for most players AGM12 its difficult weaponry, people rather use 2 TV bombs, as you wrote, and come to reload, rather than crash from SPAA that appeared on spawn while you paralized falling to target tank. Yak has 4 TV bombs, Early 2 TV bombs, but any American 8.7-9.3 jet does not have CCIP to be efficient striker, those 2 TV bombs could compensate that technical gap, question for you, 2 or 4 TV bombs can make more mess per take off, I suppose answer is clear. Conclusion: Yak is twice more potential per take off, and when this potential given to more players, it becomes out of balance.
Vehicles should be balanced according to average player, rather than those mutants who cares about digits in stats, if average player more effective on the X vehicle, its get nerfed by BR if BR gap allows it, for Yak-130 that gap is still open for 9.7. There are suggestions: Lift to 9.7BR; Remove 2 KABs but leave on 9.3BR; Leave as it is but expand hangar for USA with 1 jet with all comfy stuff, because other nations have AlphaJet, Buccaneer, Yaks, but only Yak highlights more than any other as assault jet. There is no Amercian bias, German bias etc etc because nations have strong counter in USSR, while other nations DO struggle to counter USSR on 6-9 ranks.
Even after Yak 130 nerf attention again will drop to USSR premium jet J22M1A because it has Kosava bombs player can drop out of range of SPAA and with new TV mechanic control bomb to targets, in 3/9 flight none of SPAA is a threat, maximum can intercept bombs if pilot just uses small part of brain. Of course you can mention A6E and skippers ,but jet is doomed if there is OSA and Tunguska
10.0 actually
Well, new upcoming BR changes put A6E to high probability face Pancir, dead striker. Yak 130 on 9.7BR, good now need to cry to lift to 10.0 :DD
The A4E is an air RB compliant aircraft, not terrible but not OP either
The Yak130 is a massive heap of manure, people overrate it because of “broken FM” where the broken FM in question is accelerating like an 8.7 fighter despite being a 9.0 attacker. But this is a common trope with this community, you can have a plane with dogwater stats but one good stat in common that makes it somewhat tie with other BR range aircraft and people go bananas. Like how they glaze the ta152C’s climb rate and airspawn despite it gets spanked by the J7W1 in an engagement, or how the ki83 has great engine power but the guns have late fuse which make you get like 4 plus kill assists and it also can climb as good as it wants but the tu2s outdogfights it, or the f101c voodoo which has AVERAGE turn at transonic while becomes a flying building the moment you go below mach 0.98 (people even schizo enough to say it’s the American MiG19)
The A4E has an old damage model, the Yak130 has a new damage model, getting a single 7.7mm to the FCS completely kills it.
The A4E has flares, missiles and two guns with decent ammo conservation.
The Yak130 has one of the best guns in game but has a dog water ammo count, and needs a lot of work to get the gun on target cause it needs to get slow enough to lead on people.
The Hunter F58 literally turns inside it past 700 IAS.
Both the yak130 and the F101C are the worst planes the game has ever added, but somehow people glaze them because they have a slightly above average static thrust engine performance even if it’s barely better than the competition.
Every plane overperforms fm-wise in that aspect.
Not really, they lack thrust even if they have 1.4x g load tolerance. You can’t tell me how a B66B Destroyer has worse climb rate at 3 degrees of pitch than a fully loaded Boeing 737-800NG on TOGA (set 90 percent of brute engine force) and 15 degrees of climb. Have you been to airshows? the planes carry fuel tanks and yet they can climb vertically for almost a km without using afterburner. In game the only thing that can climb vertically without afterburner is the av8 harrier.
Community cryin at is best.
Yak is moving to 9.7, but let’s forget those A4E’s.
Gotta love this “russian bias”
You know, USA mains always crying the loudest.
