The unending amount of missing German aircraft

I meant Do-335A/B-6, sorry…

Honestly some German fighters I would love to see in game would be the FW 190 A9 and A10, Fw190 G8, Fw190 D11, Bf 109 K6 and K10, and Bf109 H1 (a high altitude version of the bf 109), and Ta 152 C1 or C2 (pretty much a Ta 152 C3 but with a Mk 108 instead of a Mk 103).

I would also like to see the Me 262 HG1 and HG2 in game, as this would give Germany some much needed 7.0-7.3br fighters that are competitive

This is every nation. I’d personally love an actual bomber variant of the dehaviland mosquito

HG1 was already passed for consideration. Since there’s a picture of its existence.

They both saw service with the US Army Air Corps, so this is false. Some Shrikes were even at Pearl Harbor- while the P-35 was the first all metal Monoplane for the United States Army Air Corps with retractable landing gear and a fully enclosed cockpit.

The A-35 in US service was actually the A-31, my apologies. While it was only used as a tugging plane for targets, clearly with the Swedish Tiger II that’s a good enough reason for it to be added.

B-23s did see service, however not in their original role. They were mainly transport/reconnaissance aircraft.

Also, no clue why you included the B-32 in your comment, as many were built and saw combat. It, if I recall, was even engaged in the last full air battle of the war.

And missing aircraft isn’t just an issue for the US, Germany, and Russia. It also affects Great Britain, and I’m sure Italy and Japan as well. I’d have to look more into those, but I bet if I looked, I would find several missing aircraft from their tech trees.

It was not intended for it sure, but actually several ended up being used for training in the US because after the Japanese invasion of Thailand, North American halted any and all orders to them, and have the planes to the US. So it would be a valid request.

This is technically the 262B-1a/U1. The standard 1a was a trainer.

Drop Tanks due to the second seat taking up fuel tank space.
FuG218 Neptune Radar (early version)
2 Mk108 cannons
2 MG151 cannons

Slight less flight performance due to the radar causing drag, exact figures unknown.

If you are from south africa you can have a close-up look at the Museum of Military History. I lost the media with spec readout on that exact model. Maybe someone will be kind enough to go have a look.

"America is missing a ton of planes

Russia is missing a ton of planes

Literally every nation is missing a ton of planes."

…i would like to throw a few examples that are forgotten by history (and seemingly players) and haven’t been mentioned earlier.

US

  • Curtiss SC Seahawk, first saw action in Borneo and became the last USN floatplane.

  • Consolidated PB2Y Coronado, overshadowed by the PBY but earned its place in history bringing Nimitz to the Japanese surrender signing.

  • Douglas O-46, observation types are meant not to be noticed but two were destroyed in the Japanese attack on Clark Field. Later flew patrols over the US East Coast. As valid as any Lysander request.

Russia

  • Lavochkin-Gorbunov-Gudkov LaGG-1, an uninspiring predecessor of many La types in the game.

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-1, another poor start in a line that was to see far more success in later designs.

  • Kharkiv KhAI-5, a light bomber that looks akin to a Su-2 after a hearty bowl of Borscht.

Every nation?..just 1 from each to start - Warwick, Ca310, Q1W1, Amiot 143…but there’s many more as the suggestions pages show.

Oh, there’s also the many prototypes, variants, modifications. Where’s my Y1B-17 (and B-17B/C/D) shark tail fortress? Or the B-24N with its single tail? Or…

Thank you for clarification*, I knew if was a B-1a, just not which specific modification it was.

Thailand ordered P-64s as well, but got export restricted after the Franco-Thai War

“Furthermore, many in the product line ended up grounded or relegated to training units following the attack.”

P-35
“it was already obsolete by the time deliveries were finished in 1938.”

B-23, I already said that so none saw combat.

The only B-32 that saw combat was against Saburo Sakai & his wingman. However, this was after Japan signed the unconditional surrender.

The P-64 as I said did not see ant proper service.

So if you want to suggest them go for it. however, don’t expect results immediately. Anyway we are both off topic.

To be fair, there are lots of things that never saw combat in the US tech tree. Cough cough T-95/28

All of this is service. Do trainers not see service since they don’t see Combat? Do Cargo Planes not count as “in service” if they don’t see Combat? What about Liason aircraft?

The condition was not and never has been Combat for adding to the game, or else plenty of vehicle would not be added, like the M120S or the Leo 2K or the German F-86s or the So on and So Forth. The condition was and is “was it in service”, to which the answer to this question is yes-making it a viable addition to the game.

Plus, just because it wasn’t good in Combat doesn’t mean it didn’t see it. Pearl Harbor was very much Combat. The P-35s and A-12 Shrikes were there. The B-32 got shot at, no? Therefore it is combat, even if it is after surrender (surrender does not necessarily mean a ceasing of Combat, as seen by the German forces in Lithuania/Eastern European pockets).

So it also fulfils the original question of “Combat services planes” asked.

One of them was in any form of combat. This is why we don’t have the T-6 Texan and all its film modifications.

This is just not the reason. We have it because Gaijin has decided we didn’t need it.

Plus, I don’t exactly see people begging for 2x forward facing 7.62s and a rear facing one with a light bombrack.

If I wanted that, I’d just play the SB2U since it at least gets heavier bombs

people made a suggestion, it was passed for consideration.

Ok, they’ve also made suggestions on half of this German stuff.

I can understand why OTHERS may want it, however I don’t as functionally. It’s bad as an attack aircraft.

But the others? The others I would very much like. Mainly the P-35, A-12 Shrike, F3A, and FG-1D. And also the B-32. And B-23. And P-70. And the P-40 L/N/K. And so on and so forth.

Then why in the heck are you trying to defend their introduction? If you don’t want them in the game. That just seems counter intuitive.

Key words Mainly. And also so on and so forth.

Especially Ryan’s FR Fireball, as I have been asking for the plane for literal ages.
