The Turm III needs to be 8.7 at least it's too good

Yes I’m not a good player but even I feel the Turm III is OP, think about that yeah? I died often in it since most of the time I’m rushing cap to grind for XP because it’s the only way to play this game without going insane. I pressed ‘E’, pointed my tank at the capture zone, then alt+tab to watch streams and anime.

On the rare occasion when I actually pay attention for more than 5 minutes I’ve gone 16-1 in that thing before.

Edit: Even with that attitude my overall stats are still somehow better than both of you 🤣

It isnt that good. Turret is filled with tannerite so it is pretty easy to take out.

Yeah no, fighting T55AM1, XM1 and Challenger DS in a Turm III is quite frustrating, and it’s pretty much a glass cannon so it takes a lot of concentration and skill to play it properly.

If you’re fighting a Chally DS in your 8.3 tank the issue lies between the monitor and chair.

It’s not a skill issue, I do quite well in the turms but it is not a 8.7 tank.

The TURM III would sell less if it was placed at a higher BR

Blasting enemy with an autocanon after lobbing a large caliber apds at it is not really “skill”.

This discussion is not about us finding the Turm III OP but you. And you bring a 17 kill game as evidence while on average not even having 2 kills per death. So what does it matter if I don’t have a turm III to begin with? In fact, in case you say you are a “better player”, you further deflate your argument about turm III being OP.

If you grind for XP, that is not a good approach. XP are strongly dependent on survival time. If you die quickly, your reward will be poor, regardless of accomplishment. You need to survive too.

What I was saying is the Turm 3 can’t see a Chally in BR spread regardless, so if you’re fighting Challys in the Turm 3, the player has fudged it big time.

I know this is a bit of a necro, but it’s worth bringing up that the Turm III is still 8.3. it should be at LEAST 8.7- if not higher. The pen, paired with the reload and secondary cannon (as well as speed) makes it better than any other medium tank at the BR and the BR above it. At least move it up for people to have a fair chance fighting against it.

I don’t have the Turm, I’m not a German main so far, I’ve murdered (and been murdered) by many Turm players… And yet no the Turm is absolutely not aaanywhere close to OP territory. It’s a glass canon. It’s gonna be great in the hands of a very competent player (although I’d go TAM 2IP any day for that) but it’s brutally unforgiving : one shot of anything to the left turret side = crew knocked-out (2 out of 3 crew members are perfectly line-up for a one-tap) and if that doesn’t do it, the rest of it is filled to the brim with ammo. If you’re newer to top tier : fighting Turms is an excellent teacher, don’t get shot at first, and know the major weakness of tanks you’ll be fighting.

When I first encountered Turms I was also a bit sarcastic “Germany suffers” and shit but that lasted less than a week. I checked the X-ray, had that big epiphany and then started chewing them for breakfast.

No, is fine in 8.3 and if you can move a tank can be killed frontally by autocannons and his best shell is a 300 mm APDS first move to 9.0 ALL 8.7 tanks, because in 8.7 you can find vehicles with reactive armor, very good APFSDS or even APS system and Turm 3 is far from that.

The TURM fights the XM-1 and T-55AM-1 already, and moving it to 8.7 wouldn’t allow it to fight Challys, the Chally is at 10.3.

That’s fine just completely ignored the autoloader and speed that it has over every other vehicle at the BR, as well as the 30mm cannon that is deadly to all light vehicles.

If the M60A1 AOS is 8.3 with HEAT, mediocre armor at best, and a Stabilizer, then the TURM should absolutely be 8.7 since it gets all that the M60A1 gets+ an Autocannon + an autoloader. The only difference is slightly weaker armor which Id take in a heartbeat.

Im played both and i take M60A1 by far. Turm 3 is extremly weak. Yes the 30mm is very good again certain light armor and auto loader can save you some times but thats all, the 99% of the times you die first due the giant frontal ammo rack and very poor armor. If you want move Turm 3 to 8.7 first move ALL 8.7 to 9.0.
Turm 3 is fine in 8.3 and im saying that as Turm 3 user and common Soviet/USA 8.3 player aswell.
