Give it a try it fun just fly at high attitude and use your gunners and shoot it down and my fav way of killing fighters and bomber is to use rockets and set a distance fuse and the best is if they have proxy fuse.

It’s not a competitive strategy. The target being pursued has a massive advantage. There’s a reason nobody did this irl.
No, it doesn’t deserve unique mechanics. Decompression is your only salvation.

That a aboustly different thing. The Tu-4 is weak. and the fact the F-15 can beat the I-16 in a gun dogfight if the F-15 dosen’t try to runaway
for you this type of person.

Cannon defensive turrets compared to .50 cal defensive turrets is why. When something engages you if they don’t take either your plane or defensive gunners out quickly they near immediately get ripped to shreds.
That’s why they’re a whole BR level higher. That defensive lethality.

in 2015 or so plane was opish at 7.0 when top planes were the hunter, f86 and mig15. Then gayjin nerfed its gunners to the ground, bumped its br to 8.0 and make its repair cost unplayable. And this plane was left like this ever since. It was okish back then but they started to add new planes and crap and now this plane is total useless.

Do they spawn higher than other bombers or have a better climb rate? Just asking because my main task when I’m playing yak 3T is bomber hunting and im always able to get to their altitude before they get with in the drop zone
Edit: upon further reading I’ve learned the TU is running 23mms and not .50 cals so I guess as long the pilot knows how to aim the gunners it’s a lot harder to get close to than other bombers
