You showing yourself when tanks like pershing can just show only turret from the relief.
I still don’t see the issue with that.
Showed yourself, got track hit, stuck on the top of the hill, have no depression to aim, died.
What?
You on T-44 standing behind the hill, enemy is on other side, you driving on top of the hill to move down to other side and shoot, enemy notices you and destroys your track. And you dies.
So then every other tank with bad gun depression should be moved down? I don’t see what do you want to say with this.
T-44 is 1.0 higher than T-34 just for stronger UFP. Like VK 3002 M and Panther D. Only 0.3 BR up for strong UFP without changing another characteristics.
That is totally different.
A T-44 is faster than a T-34, more armored.
The VK on the other hand has high pen. They can’t put it lower. It would be around 4.3 if it had a panzer 4 gun for example.
+0.3 for speed + 0.3 for armor. 6.3 BR. How T-44 can fight Maus? Even pershing have chance due to effective APCR.
What???
And how to fight a Maus?
Ahm, just like with many other tank that can’t pen it?! Don’t fight it!
But it can meet it, T-44 can side pen another enemies, but not Maus. I think vehicles shouldn’t meet enemies totally invulnerable for it.
Could you not cherrypick another tank?
A B1 can meet a KV-1. So what?
You won’t have much better chances against a Maus with an IS-2…
The OP suggests 6.0 OR 6.3
Does any of this matter when few vehicles even stay or play in their designated BR ? Does anybody want to face the T44 at 5BR or 5.3 ?
6.0 too op 6.3 good.
That as a stand alone point is OK but take into consideration what has moved in all the other nations because Gajin have to.Your argument would be fine and simple if the was no such thing as uptier and downtier.
This is the main problem with this nasty habit WT has of moving Vehicles for little reason.
I ask you ,what real difference does it make if the T44 is 6.7 in the game as it stands at the moment?
Many players have never known it to be anything else.
Other than just annoy its users moving the Panther,Tiger ,Jumbo etc means little.I’m against changing BR unless a new vehicle is seriously OP due to a mistake being made in initial stages.
The T-44 is a very sad tank, Im not afraid of them at all in my panthers let alone tigers.
Very easy to kill through the turret cheeks, and it also tilts to the ground when it stops moving which gives you all the time in the world to aim at its weakspots before it can fire.
I havent played it since they uptiered it as it is redundant because the T-44-100 is only 0.3 BR higher.
They are not, angle the turret a little and it eats 122mm shells consistently.
Jumbo syndrome. Has armor, so must be upteired until that armor isn’t effective. Nevermind the gun is very mediocre, it has frontal weakpoints, and its not particularly fast. I agree with the previous sentiment that the Pershing and T44 should be 6.3.
If they angle their turrets you can just shoot the turret side and 122mm normalization does the rest. If you cant deal with Panthers using 122mm thats on you
you are rolling dice at that point. Good odds, but if you bounce you are dead in a lot of situations. They point and click most of your tank and have 1/3 your reload.
After talking to like 30 people using this term over time since volumetric and asking them what they even mean, I still don’t have any idea what they mean. Its turret just has good armor. Volumetric makes cheesy exploits through its legitimately good armor less available, but “volumetric” isn’t the reason, it having good armor is.
(Edit: well actually it does have one cheesy advantage which is an oversized gunner’s optic, which for some reason after years, Gaijin still thinks is made out of unobtanium neutron star alloy, but that again has nothing to do with volumetric. That has to do with knowing that optics aren’t made out of neutron stars, separate issue)
