Introduced as toptier plane at 10.0, the first BR reduce was the beginning of compression. Now at 9.3 it’s able to rule the whole lobby in an full downtier. The PT with 2 missiles is even more criminal. If I am right, the only plane with the same BR like his non-missile brother.

Played it recently from no upgrades to fully upgraded. It should be 9.3 because it seemed like a slightly downgraded mig 19, being faster but worse at turn and lacking the missiles. I just vertical looped with it like the mig 19 and was able to kill a lot of people. They still need to move up the other dumb 9.0s too like the f4d and f3h2(eeeeeh).

Which are not designed for speed or maneuverability. IIRC the late variants of the F-86 like the F-25/F-30/F-40 variants that have leading edge wing flaps still have equal turning and way better energy retention.
The SU-7 was designed at the height of first generation jet technology, compared to the very beginning the Sabre’s and MiG’s were designed in.

It’s an absolute joke at 9.0, almost every single match lately at 8.0,8.3,9.0 I was forced to stay in the match 30 minutes after winning a 1vx with my team dead, and a singular su7 bombing the bases over and over without any way for me to catch him and the tickets simply way too low to do anything about it without wasting all my ammo

People hyperfocus on “it can’t dogfight you therefore you can’t lose!” and forget it can just do whatever it wants for 25 minutes with you having no ability to do anything about it. Many such cases.

Sure, most players use the Su-7s for bombing. But that’s no threat, it’s only annoying.
But you can win many matches by ground pounding, especially in a downtier. You have 64/96/128 (depends on the variant) S-5K rockets with ballistic computer.
Maybe around this br Gaijin should prevent matches with USA and USSR in the same team. Those two trees have so many popular planes that have become undertiered now (Sabre, Mig-15, several century fighters, Su-7 and some more…), at least if they are not together it opens some opportunities.
I’ve played the planes, they are not bad by any means… especially when we talk for a strike plane.
The problem is the MM and the rules in ranking the vehicles.
Su-7 , F-104A/C , MiG 21F-13 (and copies) ,EE Lighting ,and planes of that class -Supersonic , bad or no missiles etc.- have to be in their ^own Group^ .
It’s not that subsonics can’t ^dogfight^ them… but for the most part they can just stay untouchable in an undertier .
On the other hand from 9,3 you start seeing R-60 (bad airframe or not) and 9.7 AIM-9G (youcannotescape) …So it’s not that you can place them higer in BR.
