There was a blanket nerf to a lot of SPAA, but the ADATS and roland were already barely controllable. The pantsir went from incredibly op to very op. Guess who complained the most ------> The Russians.

this is somewhat unrelated but I J out of my AA and tanks 5 times in a single match 2 days ago to deny CAS kills lmao, 12.7 GRB is not fun if you are not playing Russia.

US does the same. US has the best cas throughout most brs. But i guess it is Russian bias because the one cas they have that can beat US cas is top tier.
On the topic of spaa, i still think we need a major update that is only spaa. No new top tier mbts or jets. Just an update that fills up the gaps in spaa lines.

What U.S. CAS outranges the Pantsir? Russian jets can legitimately target and fire extremely reliable cas from 8-10km within seconds of spawning then simply turn away from any attempts from spaa.

They have stuff like the f16 which can dodge the missiles. F16 can out range depending on the payload you are using. A10c can technically outrange.
We can also look at the rest of the tech tree rather than focusing only on a small part. Stuff like the a10 late and a6e outrange spaa. Low rank US planes all can act as multiroles due to 12.7s and 20s. Mid ranks can do that same with all having decent bombs and/or good guns that can pen tank well.
I just dont like looking purely at a single br to point and go “this nation is good at this br therefore bias throughout tue whole game.”

Alright, trick question the Pantsir outranges every CAS in the game by a longshot and, while difficult, can still shoot down planes from 15+km. The Pantsir is the singular strongest SPAA in the game and no other nation comes close. France has a 12.0 SPAA, the same BR, with severly dimished capabilities. Bonus, Pantsir’s excel at shooting down mavericks and bombs, meaning long range lobs don’t work unless the Pantsir isnt paying attention. The pantsir also gets guns, so at a minimum it will take your jet down with it in close range situations. Meanwhile, Russian jets can spend as long as they’d like preparing long range weaponry, knowing there aren’t SPAA that can do anything about it. I agree one example of very very very clear bias isn’t a fair comparison for a whole nation, but no one is winning the “Pantsir is fair” argument.

you dont seem to understand how this game works of why russian cas is so good at top tier its very simple the kh38 can get a TRACKING lock from outside the range of ever non russian AA in the game no us weapon can get a TRACKING lock outside the pantsirs range sure gps weapons have range and you can get long range ground lock but these do not TRACK meaning all the pantsir player has to do is rub 2 braincells together and move 2 feet to the left and not die.
I would say that past there, the plane will only get hit if they want to. I was able to dodge multiple pantsir missiles in an a10c at that range.
I never said that the pantsir is similar to others. I agree it is the best spaa. But i dont agree with some people saying that it makes it impossible for NATO cas to work.
Despite being someone who uses cas, I want more spaa. I enjoy both sides of the gameplay.

it isn’t anywhere near the level of being good against top tier CAS
I have done tens of tests against pantsirs in custom battles from all angles
and unless I’m dumb and going straight at them (ussr jet specialty) I’m practically immune to them
i have played ussr vs ussr, in Su-27SM in bad conditions GRB, i could barely see shit in those monochrome seekers on my bombs and still fragged pantsirs, so i would love it, if you stop coping about spaa being good, and just be a better player

It isn’t cause a decent CAS player can by pass it defense easily and strike the SPAA without issue. CAS/ Heli are still way way to strong for any SPAA to really counter it, even with PANSIR. With that being said every nation should have something akin to Pansir but CAS also need a massive nerf to make SPAA life better. As if it is not bad enough already

You mean multi-role props that can carry same amount (or even more) of ordnance than CAS planes from other nations ?
Once they drop their payload, they transform into fully fledged fighters.

Not really. As someone who played Italian ground, the only nations’ CAS that were the best were: basically anything with bombs from 1.0-3.7; Britain with the Wyvern at ~4.0 until the 45mm APHE was added to the Russian planes; basically anything with bombs and/or early jets (mainly Germany) from 6.0-7.0; then basically anything with bombs that’s a jet, especially Sweden’s 105; then the A-4s at ~9.0.
The thing is when you go against Russia, you immediately have to dive to the deck, where if you go against the flarak adats or the like you don’t have to worry about flying low until you are over the AO. So Russian jets can in turn fly around high at will, while other nations can’t get above 1000ft
