That is, in the case of total air superiority
which is very hard to achieve when a single NATO plane spawning can just lop a fox-3 at them
but considering how bad the players are of certain nations, cases like what you say happen

I have once played air superiority Su-27SM over using pantsir, well, let’s just say the enemy didn’t get out of their spawn, and in the moments I did fuck up, the enemy was still oblivious to my existence

US planes also have 12.7s which allow them to engage tanks after they drop bombs.

Most other nations either have 7.7s or only 2 12.7s vs the US’s 4-6.

US fighters with the 20mm allow them to bomb then continue to engage tanks.

In these cases, the US doesnt need to use a dedicated attacker since their fighters can do cas just as well as most attackers while still being able to shut down enemy cas.

You’ll find non-US 1.0-3.7 planes with 12.7mm, 20mm, 37mm, etc. MGs/cannons. They’re not special in regards to their armament.

This isn’t anything unique. Pretty much every nation at the BR can do the same.

What fighters at 1.0-3.7 have a 37? The 20s usually have very limited ammo or belts that dont do well vs armor.

With which fighters? Tbf, i dont remember what some of the minor nations have at this br. I suppose that france has that f4u but i dont recall anything else.

Germany -

  • He 112 - A-0 (20mm, 37mm pen), B-0 (20mm, 25mm pen)
  • Do 217 - Do 217 J-1/2 (20mm, 20mm pen), N-1/2 (20mm, 27mm pen)
  • Do 17 Z-7 (20mm, 27mm pen)
  • Ju 87 - G-1/2 (37mm, 108mm pen, from what I remember their flight characteristics is good enough for their BR)
  • Bf 109 - E-4/F-1 (20mm, 20mm pen), E-3 (20mm, 25mm pen), Bf 109 F-2 (15mm, 51mm pen)
  • Fw 190 A-1 (20mm, 20mm pen)
  • Ju 88 C-6 (20mm, 20mm pen)

USSR -

  • MiG-3- - 15/15 (BK)/35/66 (12.7mm, 34mm pen), 34 (20mm, 28mm pen)
  • Pe-3 (e) (12.7mm, 34mm pen, from what I remember their flight characteristics is good enough for their BR)
  • Yak-1 - Yak-1/B (20mm, 28mm pen),
  • LaGG-3- - 8 (12.7mm + 20mm, 32mm pen), 11 (12.7mm + 20mm, 34mm pen)
  • Yak-7B (12.7mm + 20mm, 32mm pen)
  • Yak-9 - Yak-9/B (12.7mm, 34mm pen)
  • La-5 - La-5/F/FN (20mm, 28mm pen)
  • I-185 (M-82) (20mm, 28mm pen)

Pretty much all of them except for the USSR for some reason (I don’t think any of their early jets can carry bombs).

I wouldnt consider these fighters.

For the german 109s, those guns have like 60 rounds per cannon and the belts have 2 rounds out of 5 that have that pen.

US has like 600 rounds per gun with half of the belt, if not more, having the pen.

For the russians, the yaks may have more rounds in the belt to pen but they also have around 60 rounds per cannon. The la5 and i185 are probably the best for the russians.

Complete false equivalence, there are mixed teams in ARB. Russian jets are worse because their tree is less profitable than the US one but a russian jet player doesn’t get clobbered nearly as much as a US GRB player, whose entire game mode is rigged against his nation

That doesn’t make the experience any better, because now you are guaranteed to face superior enemies every match.

They’re worse because Gaijin has nerfed their flight models, and they have usually worse missiles than western nations.

It is not, the Pantsir is the best SPAA in the game at the moment. CAS is also incredibly OP, and all nations need a Pantsir equivalent or better right now.

Saying that Russian planes are sub-par in top tier ARB is a fact. Saying that they face they best planes all the time is also a fact. They also have nerfed flight models, and worse missiles.

Saying that GRB is not rigged against the US (or any nation) is also a fact.

My point is that the game is blatantly rigged for Russia in GRB and rigged for US in ARB (though significantly less so)
