the LF 9 is not really that its energy is op its the amount it gets that thing has higher climbrate then the wyvern and it gets a good turn rate its absurd at 5.7 its good its going up

What justifies the spits 7.0 BR? Most if not all jets can just dive away. Other 6.7s have better global stats yet are not being nerfed.

Feels like the usual Britain tax, look at the ZSU-37-2 (radar at 7.7) and the Falcon after the ammo nerf (8.3)

Even without uptiers, the Spit has to fight the Su-9 at the same BR. Not even looking at uptiers, the Spit should not fight Si-9’s. I will mop the floor of your average Spit Mk. 24 player with a P 80A.
No matter what angle you look at it from, the Spit Mk. 24 shouldn’td be 7.0. It wasn’t crushing the meta before and was perfectly fine. Strong in the right hands? Yeah, but there are much worse offenders around that BR.

I just played out the Mk. 24 to make sure I wasn’t overreacting or overreaching. Nope. It really has nomplave at 7.0.
Most of the games I played today were 7.7 uptiers, and before I got to the battlefield with regular climbing, the match was already decided. The 1 singular 5.7 match I got I did alright in, but I got smoked by a P-51H quite handily.
The Spit doesn’t deserve this. It already can’t do anything to 7.3’s. Making it fight 8.0 is a death sentence.

Can I just say, If they think the stats justify moving the Spit24 up to 7.0 (they don’t) I am very worried about what they think the Spiteful should be when it comes

People really don’t talk about this enough. Game balance is really hard in general, but gaijin is balancing the spitfires and zeros specifically around the average player’s skill. When these props are completely outmatched by a good energy fighter. Almost any spitfire maybe in some cases excluding the Lf MkIX cant do much about a BmZer, but desperately try get shots off before said BmZer is too high alt for them.
The average skill balancing is a big problem for the spits and zeroes in specific, but as i said gama balancing can be problematic in general as these planes dog on players that don’t know how to play energy fighters

Also surprised few people brought this little demon up (BI). It is just hands down one of the best 6.7s in the game and yet it’s not moving up along the Mk24? Why exactly? It is stupidly fast, stupidly good energy retention and a good turn rate when it hits the sweetspot. Only bad thing is the compression happens a little early in dives. Genuinely so confusing how Gaijin moves Mk24 up but not the BI

I hate that plane with a passion. Saw one yesterday in my 5.7 spitfire. It was flying on the deck when it pulled up and flew like 6km straight up to kill a bomber with 1 shot…

It should have never been added, as it compresses so bad that it won’t really be able to do well at 7.3.
Well on the other hand 2 minutes into a match at 4km in my Ki-83 I got obliterated by one of the rat bastards so I don’t really care where it goes.

I still remember a few months ago, I was discussing that if MK22 would be 6.3 instead of 6.7, the same as MK24, and then Gaijin used another way to show their difference Lmao
