This is just a list of almost every plane within BR range that outperforms it in some way based on their in game stat cards, which aren’t 100% accurate due to variables like alt, speed, G force, etc but still. I am mainly counting for turn rate, climb rate and/or flat speed, as you aren’t always going to be able to BnZ. I also have heard that the J7W performs fairly well in air SB but I am not a sim player.
With what videos I’ve seen and other forum posts I’ve read, the change to bullet spread, damage, and velocity, it completely ruined the one thing this plane had going for it, from what I’ve been able to find, it had a velocity of around 900 M/S, great damage, and little spread, which allowed it to click people back to the hanger from over 1 KM away, which made up for the lack of other stuff.
From what testing I’ve done, using full real/realistic controls does fix some of the problem of turn rate at least somewhat, but without a flight stick, effectively using those two are extremely annoying and most definitely not worth learning due to a single plane. And without it, the only planes it can effectively protect it’s self against in a dogfight are some early jets.
As of right now, the only real purpose this plane serves is CAS, as the 30 MMs can at least pen tanks and rip apart SPAA.
In my personal opinion, while this plane def can be used as a BnZ opportunity plane it still does worse than others for that purpose. it should either,
- Lower BR. 2. given an air spawn, or 3. outright removed from the tech tree.

While I have more to say, I am currently sleep deprived, hungry and caffeinated, I’m gonna go cook my dinner and sleep. Thank you for your time, though I highly doubt anything will come from this even if a mod or dev spends the time to read.
