The radar of the J-15T is completely wrong and should be redone

Yeah this was my experience too. I barely moved my mouse or I tapped one of WASD for a second and you go from mach 1.2 at alt to 0.8-0.9. And the problem was that it also takes ages to get back up to speed for a non spaded J-15.

When I flew my non-spaded J-10C, AESA EFT and F-16CM the getting back up to speed part didn’t feel nearly as slow.

But yeah wait until you get the engine mod, it feels like a whole different flight model.

Yeah, true.

If you had chance to play it more with engine mod, did your opinion change?

Yeah, I know, it’s that at 14.7 it just doesn’t cut it. I like the Pl-12, and I feel the PL-12A is more consistent than the base model, I used it in the J-10C to research the J-15T and it felt good when you were in a 13.3 downtier, in an uptier not so much…

When i fly the j15t,after coming to 1.5m,higher than 8km,it will be better

less fuel keep j10c player can’t keep to afterbrun,or it can be better

Yeah, the fuel burn is really bad, like x4 probably. But considering matches at top tier hardly last longer than 5 minutes it’s difficult to run out of fuel. Though I did ran out of fuel once.

Thats what external tanks are for

You’ll lose two missiles if you equip fuel tanks in the J-10C, it’s just not worth it

but it will take 2 missile away 6 missile in 14’3 as 16c block 52 is not a good idea(i have to say it should go 14’0)

If fuel management is an issue, then could be worth it either way. better to have 6 PL-12As that you can fire consistantly from a high speed because you are always on reheat, than 8x PL-12As fired from lower speeds because you have to fuel manage

Nah, as I said it’s not really a big issue, you have ~7 minutes of fuel on full AB, which is enough for 90% for the matches at top tier, from my experience is better to have the 2 more Pl-12A.

I haven’t played it much since I got the engine mod with GE, but the first game with engine mod I got 3 kills and the second game I got 4 kills.

So yeah flight performance wise I’m now very positive about it. Although the whole package still makes it a challenging plane to play (48 countermeasures means that you have very little room for error).

And the radar? Workable or not?

It’s pretty decent. It just feels like your standard 70° horizontal scan limit AESA. Not a god tier radar like on the AESAphoon and Su-30SM2, but also not as limited as the F-16CM radar (60° horizontal limit).

It gets the job done perfectly fine though.

70°in14.7means less information

but in 14.7,we need to face sm2 Rafael and typhoon

Eurofighter aesa and Su-30sm2 needs to go up to 15.0, as the track while notch is too powerful

Hello

We indeed do. It is well sourced in the public domain:
