The multipath should be deleted

The “multipath” effect should be removed from ARB immediately.

It is unrealistic for multipath effects to trigger at an altitude of 60 meters, and the fact that an aircraft can charge in at low altitude without taking any evasive maneuvers is absurd for an air combat game.

The issue of the “stock grind” for aircraft could be resolved simply by removing the multipath effect and providing chaff as a default feature from the start.

That’s the reason why you have to fly way lower than 60m in-game either.

This is factually wrong… you cant just fly straight under 60m…not how it works

Idk I flew at a 100 feet and dodged ten missiles I didnt even bother to go left or right.

Hey I flyed IRL F-22 few weeks ago

No. Not until stock chaff.
Anyone that defends removal of multipath, even though it’s not a really big problem currently, is worse than an animal.

The people who insist on keeping multipathing in the game are almost exclusively players with beginner-level skills.
Because the game environment allows players to evade threats using multipathing, beginners continue flying jets without ever learning “notching,” and consequently, their piloting skills never improve.

Physically speaking, it can’t, not really.

You could reduce the alt where the effect begins, but as it stands pretty much everyone struggles to multipath with just the 60 m limit. No chance it goes lower (or if it does, by 10 m to 50 m)

What do you think the notch is there for bro?

Not everyone knows how to notch, especially close range. That’s why multipath is there

Almost exclusively.
But still, if you’re stock it’s basically the only option.
Top tier is cancer for modification grind and if the newbs are abusing it then so be it, top down em with IRs, ez kills

all of this sounds like you guys just wanna spamm missles and thats it, not event think about choosing a target, but climb hig, drop 12 missiles, go back, then tell others “Skill issue”. Love it.

Sure, remove multipathing and make notching harder while turbobuffing missiles, just make the entire game a game of “Climb, fire in BVR, go cold, RTB” since that will be so fun!

Oh, and screw jets that need multipathing to do well! Those should just become fully unplayed and be deleted from the game! That is fair!

imo, removing mp entirely is a bad idea (things like stock aircraft, nuclear bombers and vehicles with low cms do kinda need this. Not to mention the average player can’t notch well enough to justify removing it entirely)

However, I am all for lowering the altitude at which multipath takes place to something like 30-40 metres so that it isn’t as reliable as it is right now
Stock chaff too obv

So remove it? Because the current altitude to where MP “actually somewhat works” is 30m because its about the halfway point between the ground and when MP starts to work. If you lower the ceiling to 30-40 meters, that “halfway point” becomes literally too short off the ground to be used and multipathing becomes pure rng whether it wants to work or not. Multipathing is ALREADY halfway RNG on whether it wants to work or not.

Good, that’s the point.

It becomes impossible to use as your main defence against Fox-3s, while also allowing vehicles like nuclear bombers to not get cucked by ARH SPAAs in grb or people to push a dogfights when both are low alt

It will still work relatively ok against low alt launches, but not anything from higher up

By your own words:

No.

I don’t think you read what i said. MP will become fully unreliable and also fully not even possible to ATTEMPT in a high % of situations due to us not playing on minecraft superflat worlds and you needing to be 10-20m off the ground the entire time for it to work.

Are you claiming that lowering the multipath height is the exact same as removing it entirely?

Are you reading anything im saying

That’s the damn point
It’s not supposed to be something you can use just anywhere
