Yea, i mean everybody knows it’s shit, why you even play it ?
Yea, but you still have more chance to kill the Mi28 than the Apache or the Chinese one.

Yeah I could see why in sim it’s a problem.
Tbf though, the players, have made helicopters largely bad to play unless you play like the starter German heli or the AH-1G in all its super man like invincibility.
I actually hate trying to play the Mi-24D now. They took away its ability to use CCIP/CCRP for rockets, additionally, it’s model is still so bad, a single .50 cal can make you have to return to land, or make you perish in general.
Mi-24D for an example is from 1971
The Gepard, which is of a lower br, is from 1976
Not a large gap, but the tech difference especially in game is insane, because your pretty much dead as soon as a Gepard locks you due to its accuracy.
All those “Gepard” likes demolish the low tier helis, unless they’re on your team.
Then mid tier is fraught with manpads, of which ircms on mi-24s don’t seem to work at all, nor does flaring…
Therefore only past 10.7 do helis get somewhat decent but most of the time spaa out ranges you…
Like the G-Lynx is easily one of the best helis due to speed, size, and weapon load out…
But to wrap up, they kinda killed helo gameplay thanks to listening to whining players.
Because it shouldnt be like that, and its not only the SPYDER, but the CLAWS, Irist and other new top tier spaa.
Did you ever upload that video?
No, it’s on my Twitch replays, i can post it here if you want, but it would be the entire session we had.
I basically use twitch to record because i don’t have the space on my computer lol.
I also play the Tzefa (AH-1 with tows) and gepards and such its not much of a problem if you play at 2.5-3km of them and moving left and right while guiding the missile, and missiles like FIM-92 cant get you if you are far enough. The only issue is if you play rush with rockets.
Go for it. Debate as you like.
You know why you saw more Mi-28s?
More people play Russian helis over the other nations, especially since China is a minor nation in WT.
Best gun? Debatable. Apache has HEDP which is good, HE + AP.
The mi-28 doesnt get a consistent APHE ground belt, if it did I would agree. But you get APDS for pen, or APDS, APHE, HE, HE for a ground belt.
The LMUR is better damage wise, it’ll but often beyond 5 miles it won’t lock targets.
I’m not sure how the Apache’s weapons are you’d have to ask the gent that did the testing with us.
But 16 > 8. That means 16 targets hit vs 8. You’re likely to kill with one hit of the JAGM.
Now if you said 1:1 then yes the Mi-28 would take the cake.
Yes the Vikhirs are the best command guided atgm.
No I don’t play “clan battles” never seem to find a match when I try with my squadron.
This doesn’t even make sense. Fim-92s have a lock range of 3.11 miles or 5 km. Clearly who ever has fired them at you doesnt know how to use them right.
Sure. Not a problem
It will be deleted soon automaticaly probably.
Well sometimes I flare like crazy and it works, but im sure Mi-24 has a thermal reduction mod and longer atgm range.
My mic sounds like crap on discord XD it’s so much better on Xbox.
It has all thermal reduction items, and an ircm. But nope. They still hit me. Mi-24D only get flangas.
No. The Mi-28NM always has an advantige in WT.
Name me 1 scenario in WT where slow, inacurate HEDP rounds would work better.
“Won’t lock” is a wide term, you can’t lock in general or is it locking the ground? Can’t start a lock?
16 hit vs 8 killed
Yeah you’re probably right.
Maybe 300SP?
Yeah. I wish they changed those maps so that it’s harder to die on them…
Light vehicles (it’s very multipurpose)
good luck hitting anything, the lack of accuracy is insane.
“Dispersion: 80% within 3 mrad diameter”
Doesn’t help that that the penetration for M789 is significantly lower than it should be too.

So are Vikhirs… but unlike everyone else I don’t consistently complain about pen issues.
Nor is the 30mm all that accurate past 500 meters either.
The 30mm is better at air defense, where as the Apache is better against ground, and infantry targets
definitely an issue despite all the russian mains trying to claim otherwise (october stats)

Nor is the 30mm all that accurate past 500 meters either.
The 30mm APDS has better penetration even at an angle (ignoring post-ricochet angles) than M789 out past 4km. And it generally has an easier time as the roof tends to be 25~38mm thick for western designs, vs 30~45mm thick for the T-series, + any ERA coverage makes it hard to find contiguous areas assuming that hits even occur. So has even less penetration in reserve.
They could add the 20mm APDS for the M197 (Lightweight Vulcan) as well, but haven’t for “reasons”
the Apache is better against ground, and infantry targets
There is a reason why vehicles & modules (is an option for CROWS on the M1, alongside the FGM-148 Javelin) that use the M230LF (M914) (e.g. Sgt. Stout, M3A4(XM914), M1278(HGC) etc.) have been avoided so far, It’s really not a great platform at all.
It all comes down to the use of variants of the M789, with different fuses.
