Wanna tell that the people who get some kills and spawn in with SU30SM or whatever? I think equipping KH38 should quadruple the price.
Modern helicopters have MAWs.
Yes, it still gives them less time to react.
952 SP for both Rafale with MICAs+Magic 2s and IR Hammers,like 30SM with Kh-38MT and R-77-1 with R-73
It will be more if you replace the machine gun ammo. But it’s not worth changing unless you’re flying an A-10, for example. Brrrrrrrrt!..
Every missile is missing LOAL, jagm is missing the top attack, it’s missing the multi purpose warhead and “proximity” seeker, and because of how FNF works it’s inaccurate and likely to not kill
So it isnt at it’s “full gory”, as he claimed. Also not every LOAL missile are NLOS and have MITL, iirc so currently in game only the spikes would have this features.
having an incorrect fly path is not a missing feature, but an incorrect one.
it is a HOB sensor, it could be modeled as a proximity as a game convention but it is not a proximity fuze as on the likes on the vikhr, which was intended to target aircrafts.
Sure it should have better fragmentation but thats pretty much all that it “miss” about the warhead, variable delay fuze, which by game convention would mean that you would have to use two different missiles for that, but it also have like a 1 kg more of explosive than it should.
They need to nerf the Soviet force field protecting it from IR guided missiles, state of the art SAMs being jammed by LDRICM is pathetic and laughable, IRIS-T would simply fall back to IOG+DL if its IR seeker were to be jammed.
were it so easy
That force field isn’t limited to RU only.
They don’t care that others have it too… all they want is the Russian nerfed… there lies the problem. Nobody would batte an eye if onthers had such thing, but since RU have it… well its an apocalyps. Just count how many threads about the Mi-28 there are on the forum and none for the Z-10ME or god forbid the AH-64E…
maybe there are more threads about MI28 than the others because you see a lot more of them, and its missiles are much better
russians have their own forum btw check it out
DIRCM that works perfectly, against multiple targets, including DIRCM immune missiles. While backed up by the newest SPAA to protect it from planes.
That force field shouldnt exist for anyone. Because the way it works in game is absurd and unrealistic as all hell. It even deals with missiles specifically built to ignore it, reliably, multiple ones, all at once.
Exactly, and they all seems to forget that the forcefield of the MI28NM works on very specific angles, while those of the Z10 and AH64E are 360 degree bubble, even missiles from above are affected
Not to mention how SPAAs can lock through 50 trees but helis can’t see through these trees even in ULQ
i put it into quotes for a reason, it would function like a proximity fuze ingame. and no its not an “incorrect” feature there is no top attack its a feature missing from the missile, and the lack of the HOB sensor means the missile is much worse againt helicopters than it should be, no i dont see why there would need to be two missiles? im pretty sure we already have them in 155mm shells and those can jut press a button to switch fuze.
ALL of these are wrong, i swear helicopters are the most bullshit unit in the game, they get magical stealth capabilities and magical anti missile bubbles.
helicopters should be free food for AAs if alone, they should only be usefull when AA is suppressed by proper fixed wing CAS, and its why Harms shouldve come with the new helis(with realistic weakness of course), its such bullshit that helicopters are the safest and most effective cas even for USSR which has the kh38mt.
AH-64E well… yeah, but the issue isn’t whether NATO has some good toys. It’s about how features are modeled. JAGM on the Apache flies like a flat Hellfire, even though it should have top-attack. Meanwhile LMUR does get its steep loft/dive in game.
Kh-38 being “average” doesn’t really change that, it still has its real features, while a lot of Western stuff gets trimmed back. (Brimstones, iris, pars, jagm…)
And yeah, LMUR can be beaten by trees, smoke, and cover, but so can every other missile. The difference is that it actually flies the way it’s supposed to, gets constant one hit kills, rarely hits tracks or gun, while others don’t. LMUR, shoot 8, get 7-8 kills, jagm, shoot 16 maybe get 5 kills if you are extra lucky
For me the core point is: restrictions for “balance” feel anti-consumer when they’re applied unevenly. Model everything properly, then balance with BR/cost/map design
quick note that the hellfire has a bugreport accepted from 2 years ago, currently the trajectory is completely fictional which is why its such a terrible missile and is so slow.
