Because I specifically mention to look at a player who has both platforms? You’ll generally see that the Ka52 performs better than the Apaches. Not a hard concept to grasp.
T4T foolishly brought up global stats thinking as if it’s a gotcha moment when in fact all it shows is why the Ka52 is popular in the first place
Because it was and even after the nerfs towards the vikhrs, it was still quite good right before new spaa were added.
You want me to go and manually check each player, does he have both helicopters?
And how many times do I have to look at it so that the conclusion is approximately accurate?
Besides, the player’s statistics do not show when he played with that heli.
Here, the same like comparing a year ago added a 25sm3 to the game, when it was 12.0, there were no AHR missiles in the game, especially the new spaa, and he simply dominated, and the current su34.
Tell me that su25sm3 is better.
Im done with you.
Backed into a corner, starts to insult. Nothing strange. Im done with you too.
Mi 28 and LMUR are dumb, it’s another broken ill thought out addition. It elevates Russians already disgusting CAS options Su-30 - Su-34 and now this to add to it.
Look enjoy it but don’t pretend it’s not disgustingly overpowered.
I wouldn’t mind as much if the game now didn’t feel like nothing more than Russian state sponsored propaganda. I’m sure BVVD bank account is looking healthy though.
Let’s honest. That was problem with ALL helicopter models… we all relate to the Ka50/52 becous those heli’s are more common.
Ka50/52 does have tail rotor so it doesn’t go in to “spin of death”… yeah it was way to controlable after losing it’s tail and that was fixed (to late )… i think… now when you lose the tail its start the “leave vehichle” countdown.
You do realize the same website you use to cherry pick stats is the same website where you can check a player’s history on a certain vehicle. Granted it only applies to 2025, but that’s enough to give you a good understanding .
The entire point is to show how much superior the Vikhr platform is to hellfire ones.
I understand that you get pleasure from rage baiting people, but come one man, at least play some vehicles that only have hellfires to make your lies believable.
I have created a new thread with a couple of polls on the main issues discussed here and some proposed solutions, feel free to suggest any polls / changes. My goal is for this to be 100% impartial .
Massive difference in number of matches can easily be explained by the much easier path RU has to their top tier vehicles. For years US didn’t have a premium helicopter with MAWs for example.
I think Mi-28NM and AH-64E are powerful in skilled hands, I do not however think they are OP.
Rotors need to be modeled for radar cross section and damage by fire primarily.
Not really, both trees require 7 helicopters to reach top tier.
That wasn’t the determining reason on why players didn’t buy the Peten. It was mainly because of the hellfires. It doesn’t help that the 64D didn’t bring more to the table and was more or less a 64A with slightly better (albeit still crappy) hellfires, MAW (if you sacrifice stingers), and a radar
Ka-50 being played much more than US premium pretty much means the access to 12.0/12.3 helicopters for RU is easier for much more people.
If you’re smart with it, MAWs can basically make you unkillable against many missiles so that is a huge boost on it’s own. Being meh at close ranges and against air didn’t help either. Being stuck with 114Bs is just another issue.
The Ka50 was played more because of it’s vikhrs, durability, maw and it’s end of line helicopters are extremely good
As great as it is to have a MAW it does not help you with taking down tanks. which is why hellfires are the determining factor. They are situational making them unappealing to play.
I’m so tired of hearing about this as a significant advantage of the hellfire. This method is unreliable and works on a small number of maps. Moreover, in most cases, this is said by those who haven’t tried to use it in a real game, but only used it in a test drive or saw it on YouTube.
Hellfires efficacy scales with BR and what SAMs are up.
An Ah-64 with Hellfires has less chance against a Pantsir than a Ka-50 does with Vikhrs missile speed is everything.
I encourage you to play the vikhrs and the hellfires instead of speaking as if you know why they were played. People didn’t want to play them because they were “unique”, they wanted to play them because they’re extremely capable for it’s BR. Hellfires couldn’t simply compete with the Vikhrs
MAWS isn’t a determining factor to keep you alive. It enhances your situational awareness. Again, I’m not downplaying the importance of MAWS, you’re downplaying the importance of a helicopter’s most important weapon system, it’s agms. Like I said before, using stats for a helicopter doesn’t give you a full picture because of how much more soviet top tier helis are played compared to the rest.
Didn’t you say to not use global stats as minor nations will generally perform better than major nations? US helicopters are being played less than even some minor nations so of course, the people playing them will generally do better.
ah64 in this case is better by a mile on most maps. Thermal + good rwr + good zoom is a huge diff. KA-50 is a really hard heli to play for the last few years.
How? The whole point of this method is that you jump out at the last moment. Your missile hit him faster than his missle will reach you. And in the worst case, if you timed it badly, you just dive back behind the terrain.
