The MI28NM problem

So we are just ignoring that part and everything that came after? Like i said, feel free to make an actual concise argument but you can keep your one liners to yourself

90% od this is wrong, every fox 3 is fucked in some way or another, the issues with the r-77 are vastly overstated, and r-77-1 is the second best missile in the game. Going from playing the hornet to the su30sm is jarring for how good those r77s are

also grid fins do produce significantly more parasite drag at all speeds compared to conventional fins, Im not sure where people got the idea that they dont

there is a reason they arent used by many missiles

it would be nice if they didnt artificially nerf AMRAAM fin AOA so they pretty much can never hit their G limit and are by far the worst top tier ARH for close to medium range shots

I dont see where im wrong tho?

I said they get screwed over by Gaijins inability to correctly model drag not that R77s are bad

They aren’t used by any missiles, neither china, India or Russia have chosen to use grid fins in any of their modern indigenous missile designs, all of these countries still operate r77s (china I don’t think so), grid fins are used in a few bomb designs(gbu-57 MOP is perhaps the most famous) but that’s about it as far as I’m aware in terms of weaponry.

So you repeated what @T4T said… great job… very original

I think there might be a sweet spot where they pull close to max g but yeah it’s a very short timespan.

So if you correctly use your eyes then you can see that i actually answered to what T4T said and did not repeat him.
But thanks for proving my point that youre completely inable to argue and instead resort to meaningless one-liners

What are you even talking about.

You can scroll up and see what im talking about? Answered to the wrong comment?

supposed to be good at medium and long range but again who die to an AMRAAM 20KM aways nowadays?
last time i died to an AMRAAM at that distance is when the first introduction of fox 3 (for around 2 days) after that? I never died to an AMRAAM at long distance again.

That’s literally a 70° angle of attack, in-game is closer to 30° or 20°. It goes to show how artificially nerfed Spikes and PARS are. LMUR of course did not get this artificial nerf :)

For some reason right?
even JAGM don’t loft as it should far as i can see
also pisspoor postpen damage thagt mostly effect almost all shaped charge that does piss poor damage for some reason.

same with hellfires and JAGM

apparently gaijin can only make russian ATGMs loft

Funniest thing is that all gaijin has to do is put the code of the LMUR, onto the other FNF missiles, provlem solved with a simple ‘it’s fixed’ patch

yeah they just modeled it as a heat warhead while ignoring its additional fragmentation effects and gave it a damage preset based on warhead dimensions not missile dimensions like they do for everything else

It shows that Gaijin can code top-attack weapons, it’s never been a “game engine limitation” as many have said as gaslighting.

AGM-114s and LMURs currently loft about the same.
Can’t speak for AGM-179s or SPIKEs at this time.
I might test on the next dev server.

Can we all just agree that the LMUR missiles are absolutely broken right now? And no, I’m not talking about the missiles being bugged. This thing either NEEDS to be removed (with players who GE’d it compensated) or the vehicle moved up to 13.7.

IR SPAA don’t stand a chance lmao + TWS still being broken doesn’t make it any better

they do not at all loft similarly

and there is a multiple years old accepted bug report that proves that hellfires do not loft correctly
