Japan has Kh-38MT with the Su-30MKM which is basically Su-30SM without thrust vectoring, so Russia is not the only nation nowdays.
however i agree with them getting nerfed in that aspect: Kh-38MT should only be available in Su-25SM3/Su-34, since that aircrafts are the ones that mainly use this type of AGMs irl, and i couldn’t find a single Su-30 (nor even Su-57) footage using them.
talking about LMURs, i feel they should get limited to 4 and be carried by the Ka-52 too, maybe in an upgraded version (Ka-52M probably) so the Mi-28NM is not the only helicopter that can be used with this kind of missiles, and as i know the Ka-52 doesn’t have the specific type of IRCM the Mi-28NM has, which means it would be easier to kill than the Mi-28NM while paired with LMURs.
You forgot that each LMUR is a guaranteed kill, whereas any other type of heli AGM requires 3 or more shots and sometimes still can fails to take them out.
Except that LDIRCM must be nerfed and top-tier SPAAs should get their realistic capabilities; if either one was working as intended, LDIRCM would never be an issue against modern SPAA.
Yeah no. If they drop to 11.3 in any sane reality, then the KA-50 needs its Gen-1 thermals.
Pretty sure it’s the only heli above 11.0 without a thermal.
Which is a mass disadvantage.
Especially during night battles.
If they correctly implement Thermal generations (distance)
A gen 1 thermal at 11.3 for the KA-50 and the the others go no lower than 11.7
(KA-50, I’m pretty sure was literally trailered for the game to be equipped with its thermal)
The Vikhir atgm has been nerfed numerous times, and actually to this day is still incorrect in penetration. It should be 1000mm RHA
In game it’s 800mm.
Yeah, bro, I also hate when my most survivable heli in-game doesn’t go against proper AA while having maneuverable fast busted missiles with strong proxy fuse and delayed laser warning.
In regards to this, my biggest gripe with top tier is the fact that modern day radar missiles go for the ground so easily. Most modern day missiles have better software and filtering to decipher between the ground and the aircraft. Now yes they are susceptible to multipathing, if the target sits in one spot the missile should have little to no trouble finding its target with data link.
